Parking brake ‘breaks’ the normal brakes
felixx75 replied to Chattytumbler's topic in Bugs and Problems
Works for me without any problems. But I use two axies for my brakes (rudder pedals). -
So far, without limit. Since the blower is off, you don't need an intercooler. And cylinder head and oil temperature is ok, as you can see. From about 200kt at 44 manifold pressure you can easily close the coolers. Similar to the P-47, where you also have to close the radiator from 200 (mph).

You are right that you reach about 3100 rpm when you pull the lever down with the mouse. The physical position is the same (at least for me), but the rpm goes up and then you actually see smoke, which I would rather explain as pure stress on the engine. But of course I don't know that either...
-
The RPM lever (and the position of the lever) has nothing to do with the Water Injection.
-
Not for me. I have bound it to a lever (Axis) and the lowest position I reach with the axis is the same position I reach with the mouse. Just tested a few minutes ago

Here is a picture of how I reach 260kt+ without any problems, with max. cont. (Manifold 44, 2550rpm, Blower: neutral) All coolers closed. Why others only ever reach low speeds, I don't seem to have these problems.
-
It sounds to me as if many don't keep the ball centered and therefore produce too much drag. It would be best if those who have problems would supply a *.trk file. Then it would be easier to understand where the problems are.

It's not a "Supercarrier". Maybe we could get one in the future, but for sure not for free

TO, Mil. Power and WEP are all specified as 2700 RPM... Max manifold pressure lies at 57,5 - 59,5 depending on height
-
Of course, the question arises as to why you want 3000+ RPM... TO, Mil. Power and WEP are all specified with 2700 RPM.
-
Default should not be 500m but 300m (with shorter options too).

Wo liegen die Unterschiede zwischen einer französischen und einer britischen Jaguar?

I also know the manual for the Corsair (AN 01-45HA-1), but I have found the same table twice, but with different contents. On the pictures you can see the known table, but on the one picture “Auto-Lean” is listed everywhere except for the TO, but on the other one “Auto Lean” is only listed for “Max. cruise” and “Min. fuel burn”. Both from the same manual. The question now arises as to which is correct...

Ah, das hatte ich nicht gesehen. D.h. aber nicht, dass die bereits genannten Flugzeuge auch für DCS umgesetzt werden.

Bin verwirrt... Steht da nicht "für MSFS 2020/24"?

The P-51D IS faster than a F4U-1D. So your feelings are correct.

I used wind @12kt and for the carrier 18kt. Did work fine.

The production version of the F6, the F6F-3 (of which some 4400 were built) entered service in 1942 (only a few units, but it was in service). The first production version of the F4U, the F4U-1 (some 4700 built) also entered service in 1942... So your statement is not correct. The difference is only about 3 months. You really can't call that “WELL before”.

QAG - No Ground start with CAP or missions?
felixx75 replied to Cleanerco's topic in Quick Action Generator
Why on earth am I not allowed to take off from the ground when I create a dogfight, intercept or escort mission? I understand if some people want to start in the air, but not even having the option is just plain stupid. -
Pitch: Curve 5, Sat 100/100, Deadzone 1 Roll: Curve 5, Sat 100/100, Deadzone 1 Yaw: Curve 15, Sat 100/100, Deadzone 1 But that doesn't really help you, because what works for you depends 100% on your own hardware.

...it's probably not. I can land on the carrier in my self-created mission on Marianas WW2 without any problems.
