I can confirm that the fix passes IC.

There are no NVGs available for the Mirage atm, the cockpit with its red lighting isn‘t compatible. IRL in France M2000C got NVG compatability very late in its service life. We might get it somewhere in the future, as it was mentioned in the mid life overhaul post by Razbam. But the only way atm is mods.

I can clearly see on the stores page in your video that you have two Sparrows loaded. Take another look.

After you have created the profile, right click on the pylon you want to equip (where my colored icons are) and a menu will open for you to choose from. You can't chande the 'Empty' profile obviously.

You're welcome. Yes, this will work on multiplayer missions as well. In step 3 you would simply choose 'client' instead of 'player' for your individual planes. And you have to create these payload profiles only once per aircraft type, they will be saved for the future. So if you add another Yak to your mission or in any other mission, your previously created profiles will wait for you in the payload tab. You just have to select the one you want. In addition to that they will also show up in the ingame rearm/refuel menu:

How familiar are you with the Mission Editor? 1) Place an aircraft anywhere on the map. 2) Change it to Yak-52 3) If you want to fly it, change it to Player 4) Go to the Payload tab 5) Select NEW 6) Give your Payload a name and it will appear in the list above. As you can see, i have created a paylaod for every available smoke color for the Yak. Have fun!

After listening to the podcast episode the things you guys criticize might be intentional. The pilot mentioned that due to training and doctrine at the time he had no SA and his cockpit was configured all wrong for A/A when he got the call that he had MiGs 15 miles off his nose. Maybe this is what the mission creator wanted to replicate by throwing us in so close to the action.

Viggen released on the announced date, but only for open beta. I think this was communicated only 1 or 2 days prior. So a bunch of very vocal people felt cheated and started screaming, said they were lied to etc. Other guys rushed in to defend the devs, yet others tried to explain how easy it is to switch from stable to beta over and over again only to be ignored, the whole open beta concept was put into question, there was talk about class action lawsuits and so on. All the fun stuff. :lol: The whole affair lasted for nearly a week before the dust started to settle. With the influx of a whole lot of new people to DCS in the last year i see a high potential of a riot if this should really happen again. In this case I might want to avoid the forum altogether for a couple of days for the sake of my sanity. :)

I just hope HB and ED get the module out to Stable before their deadline ends or we'll have another 30 pages of drama here... :badmood: Anybody remembers Viggen release?
