  1. Already had contact with him. He's on a business trip and won't be able to help this week. Hence I am relying on the community to help me out
  2. Any chance that's the issue then? Those 7 bytes mine is missing? I've put my key in the designated folder. without doing any edits.
  3. Just tried. No dice. How large is your lotatc.key file? Mine is 133 bytes. Any chance its corrupted? It works fine without the key in demo mode. You don't need to 'execute' the key or anything like that right? I also tried downloading the 32 bit version. No dice either. I redownloaded the key from my email but also doesn't work.
  4. Like I said it's what I also tried. I used the client data folder that was already made and then it won't boot up anymore
  5. I would like it with some more Airbases in Italy, even if the rest of Italian terrain was low quality.
  6. Hey everyone, I am having a bit of trouble with my key. Whenever I don't have the key installed. The software works just fine in demo mode. But when I add the key to C:\Users\Sryan\LotAtc 4 DCS Data\Client it won't start up anymore. I believe to have followed all instructions on this page: https://www.lotatc.com/projects/lotatc/wiki/Client_Installation_guide I also tried making that folder described there. {UserHome} \LotAtc 4 DCS\Data\Client\ However putting the key there just results the software in booting up in demo mode. Thanks for any answers in advance!
  7. I understand all hands are on deck for the tiger II now. But what's the status? Did it really unfreeze? Some progress been made this year? :D thanks.
  8. You're using them correct. The correct bomb for the correct target. Unfortunatly blast-fragmentation isn't that greatly modelled right now. So you'll sometimes see vehicles and infantry survive things from the 87/103 while they should definitly have been in the pain zone. Note that the 87/103 is a multi-purpose round that also has a HEAT element to it. So it should damage some armored vehicles. I don't think it's worth it against tanks though. It's true that both HOF and RPM affect the weapon footprint. I am providing a link to a table of footprint sizes as provided by the 476th https://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&ved=0ahUKEwiP8umc_t_MAhXlA8AKHb8UClEQFghAMAQ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.476vfightergroup.com%2Fdownloads.php%3Fdo%3Dfile%26id%3D73%26act%3Ddown%26actionhash%3Dguest&usg=AFQjCNGRGM0DkKYidL2-NYtsubd_V8NA2g&sig2=eHXXW9mSuIOuAz8DNJHBSA&cad=rja Lowering the HOF also reduces the time the 97/105 spends dangling from their parachutes. Useful against mobile targets or during windy days. Don't lower it to much though. About 900-1200 feet is fine if I recall correctly. Hope it was helpful.

  11. Ah, that explains then. Welcome to the forums!
  12. Did he say that? I did an advanced search for yo-yo's posts containing a lot of different words revolving around FC3. ( Flaming cliffs, Su-33, MiG-29, МиГ-29 Cy-33) But I found no returns for a statement like that. I even translated a good deal of russian posts. I did however, find a post made by Wags. It reaffirms my point and also sort of confirms yours :) So the Su-33 PFM is in the works as we speak. And the MiG-29 will be worked on once the Spitfire Mk.IX is complete.
  13. More details inside the cockpit (when seen from external). More details on the EOS. More details on protrusions like those found on the vertical stabiliser and spine. Things like that are what I am seeing. Also the air inlets on top of the wings strakes seem a bit more detailed. And actually blend in with the hull a bit better than they do now.
  14. Good looking stuff, Polychop!
  15. There's a player-made MEDEVAC campaign for the UH-1. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=163187 Takes a couple of scrolls down for the download. EDIT: Directly to the downloads: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2722167&postcount=5
  16. Some other games solved this by using something called a Commo Rose. You held down a key, wich brought up a menu, that you can then use the mouse in to communicate what you needed. Perhaps This would be something useful in DCS? VR users could maybe use the central point of their vision as the focal point and letting go of the key would communicate that message. Even as a non-VR user I would like it instead of the / F# menus.
  17. The plans are this year. The Su-33 will probably be the first to receive the update. The reason is that is probably a bit easier to do, as it can be done by modifiying parametres from the Su-27, and then adding calculations for the canards. However, deck landings would have to be done from scratch, as the current SFM relies on scripts. Or it would have to be reworked from the hornet code. Another reason I think the Su-33 will be first is to capitalize on the upcoming admiral Kuznetsov + Nimitz DLC. And also to provide a playable rival to the Hornet in the multiplayer enviroment.
  18. Yeah and even the G. All of them are receiving the upgrade.
  19. That is most likely the case. During the streams about the Mirage back in October-November, an icon on the main menu was spotted that was labelled МиГ-29, or was it Cy-33.. Can't recall but I know there was an icon for a standalone module from the FC3 modules that's not available now.
  20. That's a negatory, unfortunatly.
  21. Yes both the MiG-29 and the Su-33 are slated for FM updates, all the way to PFM, so on par with F-15, Su-27 and all full fidelity modules. It's planned to reach completion this year.

  23. The key won't work with the steam version. What those other guys have said is that you could download DCS from the website here. Install it etcetera. You could then go into steam and add it as a non-steam game. This means you can launch the game from inside steam and use the overlay. Marcus, I don't even have the steam version installed anymore. You can just go to the steamstore and purchase modules on sale even without having it installed. Just need to go to owned DLC keys for DCS and enter them on the website here.
  24. woah thats cool! Be sure to snap some pics for us if possible!
