Could we have an option in ME to limit DL to aerial targets only? I'm sorry but I still feel uncomfortable with the God-o-vision that magically locate with pinpoint accuracy all air defences in the map

I don't recognize that mode, so I can't tell. What I can tell is that E-3 is not capable to geolocate accurately all ground to air defenses and transmit them via DL. Another story would be if, for example, another Jeff finds something interesting and it decides to broadcast its SPI to other flight members, but this is not how it's modeled currently in DCS.

I don't think Air defences positions transmitted through DL is realistic though... ESM and SAM geolocation is one of the most challenging tasks ever faced by specialized SIGINT crews, a/c need to be fitted with sophisticated equipment, and definitely E-3/E-2/A-50/whatever are not.

It shouldn't receive contacts from AWACS. And I highly doubt that all ground based air defenses become magically visible to all nodes in the net.

HARMs would impact into ship's centroid, not into ship's radar As described. When launching HARMs to sea targets, it'll conveniently impact the target in a generic centroid, not into the ship's radar.

mmm I'm a bit worried with last JF-17 mini-update "The pace for adding new features will slow down" There are still some elements missing like DSG INS update, and I still see the TPOD a bit buggy sometimes, with erratic movements (compared with LANTIRN implementation in other aircraft) and bad image quality (too much contrast, and gain/level commands don't help).

@RagnarDa, any comments on adding any of the RL functionalities raised by the OP? I'd like to see the wind-corrected RB04 and RR lines and the changes in DYK and PLAN modes.

RUNWAYS ARE INVISIBLE IN RBM MODE Tested in PG. Even at closer distances (10 nm), runways, taxiways, parking slots and roads in general are absolutely invisible to Jeff AG radar. Auxiliary buildings such as hangars, HQ etc are however slightly distinguishable between background noise. PG OIL TANKERS ARE NOT TRACKEABLE IN SEA MODE Again tested in PG. There is no synthetic brick for oil tankers, they are, however, quite visible as raw returns in RBM mode ELEVATION ANTENNA SELECTION IN AG MODE IS PASSED TO AA MODES If antenna elevation in AG mode is tilted and immediately after an AA mode is selected (RWS, TWS etc), same elevation persists. Fair enough, but I hope that when DCS eventually gets some sorte of EW modelling, around 2050 I guess, you would be around to evolve the jam/jet visualization to a more realistic realization.

Hi, AG radar is great bu we really need to get the INS & Nav fleshed out - markpoints, offsets, INS drift/fix, etc. That's really the avionics foundations, I don't understand how we are still missing those

Doesn't it aim to GPS coordinates in case of MITL pod missing?
