  1. Broken since forever. Razbam please put some love on a-g capabilities as well :'(
  2. Is it possible to create a markpoint on RWR contacts? And second question, is it accurate enough?
  3. Yeah that actually annoys me a lot, being ED's API I would have expected a more complete realization of the AG Radar (It's not Deka fault). I know, WIP, but still...
  4. Gotcha, thanks. I see LD10 now more like a self-defence weapon, Sidearm alike, than a SEAD missile. Although ACT make use of the INS, if you know the precise location of the emitter, I would use a different weapon to strike
  5. Yes, but normally you don't know where the air defense equipment is, but you may have a clear identification in the RWR. Just imagine Serbia campaign, when SEAD squadrons where appointed to bring down all the SA-6 mobile air defenses. It doesn't make sense that pilots can't just tell the missile to which emitter it should guide.
  6. Yes, but youtube videos featuring JF-17 RL flight sims said wrong. Moreover, barometric altimeters don't provide such accuracy, specially at high altitudes
  7. It's a personal opinion, but I think it would be way more interesting a F-117 sim with "relaxed realism" out of the DCS ecosystem, where some licenses are taken. Think of a "Microprose F-117 3.0"
  8. At least A-A mode are still missing.
  9. I'm sorry, but LD-10 mechanics just don't make sense for a modern ARM: - None of the modes allows you to choose the target that the missile will track - Pilot have zero control on the final target acquired and destroyed - a real friendly-fire problem - Not even possible to stablish radar filters, to priorize the radar signals to attack. - I don't undertand SP mode, how does the missile know which emissor locked your aircraft? what happen when several RWR contacts have a lock on you at the same time? Plus, LD-10 have an incredible accuracy even when radar emissor switch off the radar mid-course. This might be OK for ACT mode (since you shoot to a specific geographical location) but shouldn't be in other modes PAS and SP.
  10. Why? Too cumbersome to maintain?
  11. It looks weird that compass and coordinates can't be shown, since it's synthetically produced in the pod and injected into Hornet's screen as TV signal, it doesn't have anything to do with Hornet MC OFP
  12. Probably it's because drawing a triangle it's an exceptional programming challenge, according to razbam
  13. Let's make a big fuzz on changes that nobody cares about, so maybe customer base forgets the relevant, gameplay breaking and probably more difficult to fix bugs that they are continously reporting. RAZBAM logic
  14. That's so true. However, it seems that all sensors in DCS world are unrealistically perfect.
  15. Oh it is for propelling the bomb forward
  16. I don't think that would be a problem - F-35 features already several AAA games and Hollywood hits
  17. I think that's the intended behaviour. I remember having seen one post discussing this
  18. Hi! I'm looking for a nice complete book about the Panavia tornado: history, development, technical features and operational experiences There isnt many books about the aircraft to begin with, so my hopes are low, but I'm a true lover and it's worth to try Best regards
  19. That's because BMS AG Radar is unrealistically optimistic
  20. Thanks uboats. That the community pays attention to such secondary features is the result of a extremely well polished module, good job!
  21. It provides a range estimation, since SPJ is able to measure not only azimuth but only emitter elevation. It has errors though, specially over hilly terrains and on AA targets.
  22. Hi, It looks like P.U (Position Update) UFC menu is incomplete, isn't it?
  23. Physx is soooo 2005-ish. Do you guys remember the stand-alone acceleration card they put on sale? It was a disaster business-wise
  24. Fair enough, I think it's up to RagnarDa to clarify
