  1. Did you buy the A-10C II as stand alone or did you buy the upgrade? That might explain it.
  2. I am not sure what you are asking. The only difference between the AGM-65E and AGM65-E2 (or AGM-65L as it is called on the A-10CII) is the warhead. The E has a heavier warhead then the E2. The guidance and thus usage in the cockpit is the same. Our A-10C II does not have the E, only the E2 (or L).
  3. I do not want to go off topic but I find this a bit of a harsh statement. HB never claimed that Jester was going to kick ass. He is the first of his kind and very workable if you know how to use him. He is never going to replace a human player, but neither will the AI that ED will develop. We have not reached that kind of AI on this planet yet, which is for the better if you ask me. To get back on topic, I would prefer the -D. For me it can't get modern enough. I would prefer a lot of things happening automatic, not because I am lazy but because I really appreciate the technology behind these kind of systems.
  4. The radio command is there but I dont think it actually does something. You can test to prove it, but looking at the current ATC system including the Supercarrier part, which itself does not have any departure radio traffic modelled, I doubt it does anything else then sounding terrible.
  5. Is anyone else getting annoyed with people that get annoyed due to the lack of updates? Patience is getting more rare in an ever faster world.
  6. The Spring Tension campaign is the orginal campaign included with the module and is rather old. It is well possible that there is a bug in the first mission. Could you elaborate on what exactly is not working properly? I can recommend a Third Party campaign like Oilfield if you are not into combat or the latest The Crew campaign if you want a taste of a proper campaign. In my opinion, particulary the older campaigns, feel more like missions packs rather then campaigns, if you look at what is available today.
  7. This is the only thing I can think of
  8. Check the 'Instant Action' menu. You have to select a mission under the A-10C II tab to load in the new A-10. It is a seperate module. There are definately no campaigns yet that support the A-10C II and I'm not sure about training missions, unable to check at the moment.
  9. They recieved feedback from an SME that this is not a thing in the real aircraft. Its not a bug, its a feature.
  10. Maybe upload a track file and/or log so people can take an in-depth look to whats going on.
  11. It takes two presses of Coolie Switch Up. First press makes HUD SOI and second press makes HMD SOI. Press again and it toggles back to HUD etc. Check for double bindings on the control you are using.
  12. If my memory serves me right, the BRM-1 used the Ka-50 Vikhr logic to guide the rockets. I am also assuming it now uses ED's APKWS logic which, as implied above, will probably allow buddy lasing. Maybe if you run some extensive tests you will find small differences in flight behaviour and thus range etc. but I doubt it. They worked before and they still do now :)
  13. Try to think in solutions instead of problems. Obviously it has something to do with controls and/or your controller. Check RCtrl + Enter to see if your stick might be giving unwanted commands. Check your axis. Ranting is not going to get you anywhere.
  14. Its not of any help to you, but I did not have any problems controlling the aircraft. Must be something on your end.
  15. People must be really excited to panic like this lol.
  16. How does this question get asked every single time something is released?
  17. It does not matter what you say. ED will just say, we like the name so we will stick with it, even if it makes no sense at all. But there are worse things to worry about then a name.
  18. 10$ is a bargain. Twice that would still be cheap. Almost sounds like ED does not want to earn on it with these prices.
  19. Edit: Guy below me explains it better :)
  20. I do not understand how people assume anything else then this. If you think about it for more then 2 seconds this the only option that makes sense. Oh well, the world is full of weird people.
  21. Thanks for the update. Looking forward to the F-14A and the Forrestal.
  22. Multiple Hornet drivers have said that IRL you cant really make out the difference between full MIL and AB. What you hear mostly in the pit is the ECS. ED has already implemented the Loud A/B function in the Special Options for those who want to be unrealistic and can not read gauges. As per the rest of your post, ED can not base their sim on your feelings and things that seem to you. If you prefer the old sounds there might be a mod coming and otherwhise it is what we call 'tough shit'.
  23. Somebody who works with A-10's in real life tells you they do not flex. I'm not sure why you think you know better.
  24. Hi Littlewing, Welcome to DCS! Skins in DCS are not bound to maps but to individual aircraft modules. The skins you saw in the trailer for the F-16 were supposed to go in the last Open Beta update but did not make it, I suppose they will be released with the next update. If you are familiar with the Mission Editor, make sure you have set the right country for the aircraft skin you wish to fly. By default, the F-16C loads in as a USAF one. Obviously you can not select the Israeli skin for this. The F-16C has to be assigned to Israel before you can select the skin, when they eventually make it in to the game.
