  1. There does seem to be a problem with the JTAC, has worked since it was made years ago. Has probably been broken by the many DCS updates . I will need to figure out how to get it working again. Did you have any problems with the JTAC in mission 4 ( version including Nevada) or mission 3 ( Reduced version not including Nevada) ?
  2. Just checked coords out on this mission. The coords given are correct and in the precise format ie DD.MM.SS decimal SS. Which is correct for Precise coords. The use of these is noted in the in game brief plus the switchology required in the cockpit to enable them. So all good. My mistake was putting the word latitude in front of the Northing and visa versa. This has now been corrected together with the voice over and will be updated. Thanks @Hillman for picking it up. Hopefully in next update.
  3. Thanks will look into the coord text issue. The idea of the additional set of coords on the hop is just to make life a little more difficult for the player having to enter the coords whilst flying and navigating. TOO would normally be used then, but you’re correct either can be used. Hope you enjoy the Rise of the Persian Lion and the next chapter in Rise of the Persian Lion 2. Just working on the latest, Operation Green Line, this based in Cyprus, Turkey, Syria, Israel and Jordan. The same characters running through. In fact you will see more characters are added as the Campaigns progress. Cheers
  4. Hi I checked out the space bar for removal of coords issue. I guess you are on one of the simple versions as I found a small error in the script. I have corrected this and it will be out next update. Thanks for picking it up. The normal versions with full refuelling are ok. Regarding the coords, as you can imagine this campaign has been out for years and so am confident the coords are correct. It is probably a matter of what format you are using. If I remember there is direction in the brief as to the format. I also produced a video on my u tube channel for the coord entry on this very mission. The link is below. Hope this helps.
  5. By the way are you playing in stable or open beta and normal or the Multi thread version. Also are you running any mods. Thanks
  6. Thanks I will check it out , always worked until now. Don't think you will see the laser with Gogs on as it would have to be an IR beam for you to see it with them, which it's not. Get back to you.
  7. Hi, no the vehicle is not invulnerable. It is just very difficult to get rounds on a lone moving vehicle. Yes the light posts are an issue. You need to approach along the road line. I have done a guide video for this problem. Go to my Badger633 u tube channel and pick out the mission 13 video. Hope this helps.
  8. Tried on two separate computer systems. Just the same restricted view. Could be something to do with monitor resolution. But this view has definitely changed. @Minsky what resolution are you running at?
  9. Hi Tried dragging, the map is simply no longer there. Not visible in the in game F10 view either.
  10. Working on mission and with the 2.9 update have now lost objects to the west side. Have the extents changed and will the objects still be in game as they are still in editor? Do I have to reform mission now?
  11. Hi Have you seen this video I made on this subject from my u tube channel? Also this one from that mission. You can see Rob10 is correct , thanks Rob. Hope this helps, it's not easy though, like all the best things in life. Badger633
  12. Crystal running ok with DCS. The problem I am getting is when I move my head from side to side the cockpit drops slightly. See vid on link below. Anybody had this or got any idea how to fix it. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/zktbrku0zyq0bboelrkoq/crystal-camera-track-dropping-cockpit.mp4?rlkey=9ar02m26f9teczbgrdvq6ib5m&dl=0 So then tried to fix it by getting the lighthouse front plate. This fixed the side to side issue but there is a constant small vibration see the second vid link attached https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/7e4i4p0m9xhwlear9363p/Vibration-lighthouse-mask.mp4?rlkey=znfhwi8aqptt1ldre0hhbgqnm&dl=0 Any help on this much appreciated Thanks
  13. Hi Not had this behaviour when I’ve flown it. Will try again. Are you running any mods they do impact things in unforeseen ways. Glad you enjoyed the campaign
  14. Looking for a Volunteer to help with some lines in my new DLC Campaign, 'Operation Green Line'. It is for the F18 and follows on from my last published DLC Campaign, 'Rise of the Persian Lion 2'. If willing to help please pm me. Thanks Badger633
  15. Hi How close are you? You need to get right behind the tanker as if refuelling but do not need to connect to the basket. Also are you running any mods?
  16. Thanks, great countries The next Campaign will be “Operation Green Line”. The ABE finally got relieved from the Gulf after Asad was removed. On the way back to the US the ABE is diverted to Cyprus. It’s 2016 and Syria is the middle of a civil war after the Arab spring. This, however, is not the reason the ABE has been diverted. Cyprus is divided into two parts, Greek Cypriots in the west and Turkish Cypriots in the East. Both separated by a United Nations neutral zone, known as the ‘Green Line’. This has been peaceful over recent years. Over the last few months unknown insurgent actions have been taking place on both sides of the border causing increasing tension between Greece and Turkey, both NATO members. NATO has requested the ABE move in the area to monitor and make its presence known to hopefully defuse the growing situation. Ford, Matrix, Chef and Grinder are still operational on board and will need to step up to the plate in a campaign which takes them from Cyprus to Turkey, Israel, Jordan and Syria.
  17. Good points. I will update the campaigns so anybody with a problem does not have to use the turbulence option. Won’t be straight away though as will have to update some 81 mission files. Also 70% through next campaign and at the moment not near my rig, touring East Canada and US until end of month. Will start with this campaign though. Cheers Badger633
  18. Hi Chapz Sorry to hear about your difficulty, will have to think that one through. Thanks for letting me know. Badger633
  19. Hi @mattj96 That’s not normal. In all my missions if you fail you will be given a reason why, The mission will then close. I’m based in UK but currently touring the East of Canada and US down to Pensacola so not at my rig. So won’t be able to check out your track for a few weeks. By the sounds of things sounds like a DCS bug not actually campaign related. If you haven’t got it yet get Tacview, it’s a free program that allows you to view and analyse your flight. The Tacview files of missions are very accurate which unfortunately cannot be said of DCS tracks currently. By all means send me a Tacview file of your problem and I will check it out when I am back at my rig. If you want to see a fly through of the campaign, I have a playlist on my u tube channel, Flyingkenney has done some accurate fly throughs. link below. In the meantime if you explain exactly when and where things cut out I may be able to shed some light, away from my rig. Most important make sure you are up to date in openbeta and are not running any mods. These can have some very strange impacts on things. Hope this helps. 20. Just got Crystal working in DCS. Was ok for one day but now head position is not stable in cockpit. Running stand alone DCS with Pimax runtime and toolkit and the dcs mt exe forcing openXR. Anybody else had this what appears to be a tracking problem?
  21. Hi The targets are initially static when you take out the first one so you’re going to have to use the FLIR. The beam will direct you to where the action is and you need to find the target vehicle. It tells you what type of vehicle so look it up so you can recognise it. I have made a note that in ir these vehicles are still showing up dark, this because ED has not updated all vehicles to shine bright yet. The second target is moving. Hope this helps.
  22. Hi Razor Never had to raise the nose but I am going full throttle on my approach to the mountain and emerging over the top careful to ensure correct clearance before I release. To be honest if the computer says you are in a position to release, you should be able to in your current vector state, as it is this information it uses to make the calculation. You’re absolutely correct you don’t need to change to PP2 as PP1 can store up up to five target for each station. My mistake learnt something there. Thanks for picking up the voice over issue will check it out and fix as necessary. EDIT: Checked out the voice issue. It is in fact correct. When they say Way Point 3 ahead they mean directly ahead. They then say descend low level 500ft feet dry. Way point 4 is in fact the point of feet dry. The confusion, which you rightly point out, is because the call is made almost on top of Way Point 3. I have now revised that so that call is now given at a point when there is nearly 3 miles to go to get to Way Point 3. This should now make more sense. Will be in next update. Thanks for pointing out much appreciated.
  23. Thanks, that's how the series of campaigns from the free 'Serpent's Head' to 'Rise of the Persian Lion II' have been designed, to progressively expose you to all aspects of the F/A -18C Hornet, but within a continuously developing plot. Working on the 5th campaign now.
  24. Hi Not heard this before. It is definitely not a thing controlled within the mission editor or the campaign. It is worth lodging with ED as a bug. Are you using stable or open beta and VR?
  25. Thanks and yes working on the next round of Ford’s exploits.
