So I adjusted all the graphic settings from scratch. I started with low settings and made my way up to high settings. I noticed MSAA is the true FPS killer for me with my GTX960 2GB and i5 4590. Except MSAA at 2x, flat terrain shadows with a resolution of 1920x1080 everything else is set to high. Now I reach up from 45 to almost 50 FPS far out Las Vegas. Over Las Vegas my FPS are jumping from 30 to 40 FPS. With MSAA set to it's maximum I noticed my frames drop lower than 25 over Las Vegas.

If you are able to wait from the official announcement that Normandy is being developed till it's official EA release, I'm sure you guys can wait one or two more hours to finally download it. It's depending on the servers not on your DCS installation.

Oh it does work in Germany as well. I'm downloading right now.

Desweiteren sollen Vorbestellungen ihre Module sogar noch vor dem offizielem Release erhalten wenn ich das richtig gelesen habe.

I also hope that this boring, odd, one color scheme at midday will look different and more realistic with the new lightning engine. Something I noticed when zooming in, the terrain looks awful to look at especially the mountains. However I guess this won't be resolved with a new lightning engine. I think this image has been taken somewhere around midday. It's from the ED website.

There were already small additions to the Su-33 flight model such as the Cobra maneuver. I don't know how someone can lose faith if it is noticeable that they are defenitaly working on it.

I think thats the Loading Screen when flying the Su-33.

Impressive that these new lighting effects are still WIP. It already looks so incredibly well made and realistic.

It was released so that people can share their thoughts with ED on the Nevada map and find bugs that need to be squashed out. Regarding the low textures, Sithspawn already answered to that in the YouTube comment section that they fixed it.

Nicht zu vergessen ist die Bo-105. Bezüglich dem Tornado bin ich skeptisch und wann wir die britische Version des Eurofighters in DCS sehen werden.. :music_whistling:

Dann wird das auch wohl der selbe Fall mit ED's Hornet und dem Harrier von Razbam sein wenn sich die Vermutungen der ED Entwickler, dass die Hornet EA dieses Jahr sieht, als richtig herausstellen.

Das stimmt teilweise habe ich auch mit solchen Problemen zu tun da fallen mir dann aber eher Dinge bei DCS auf. Bei Rauchwolken kann es zu Pixelhaufen kommen oder der blaue Himmel wird in farblich unterschiedlichen Stufen angezeigt, Nachtflüge sind durch Grafikfehler auf den Bergen unmöglich oder das Bild wird zu dunkel. Was ich dennoch wichtig finde ist Zeit und Wetter umzustellen dann werden Reflektierungen und Sonnenlichteffekte sichtbar und dieser alte langweilige Anblick fällt weg.

Ich nehme mit dem Aufnahmeprogramm ShadowPlay das bei NVIDIA Usern mitgebracht wird auf und bearbeite die Video Datein mit MAGIX mittlerweile. Hauptsächlich beziehe ich mich nur auf "Fan-Videos" wo ich einfach zeigen will was DCS optisch oder in Sachen Möglichkeiten zu bieten hat. Bei Luftkämpfen würde ich auf schnelle, ruckartige Szenen setzen. Da benutze ich alle möglichen F-Keys Views. Das TrackIR bewegliche Sichtfeld und die interne/externe Zoom Möglichkeit sind Optionen die mir beim Aufnhemen sehr gefallen. Zur Aufnahme an sich lass ich die Tracks ablaufen und nehme während dessen das Geschehen auf so das ich am Ende zufrieden bin (bei Luftkämpfen eignet sich das gut). Manchmal macht dir die Track-Replay Funktion aber auch ein Strich durch die Rechnung. Teilweise nehme ich aber auch direkt während der Mission auf da passiert dann nix außer rumfliegerei über die Karte mit irgendwelchen Manövern oder in Formation mit der KI. Wenn es wirklich nach einem kleinem Filmvideo geht dann achte ich hauptsächlich darauf das die Musik zu meiner Idee passt und somit auch die Aufnahmen.
