That`s all well and good but jester will mostly loose lock or target . Target locked lost target . !! so Aim-54 will fly unguided with no lock . ? Single player online . Any help for best lock in single player online .

Ive been playing this game since it was on windows 95 . Not a Noob to flight sims . There is definitely problems since last patch i am online most nights . Aircraft are not seen . Use zoom axis they disappear . Some thing is not right with Zoom . Multiplayer might have some thing to do with this . Warping planes some crazy stuff last night on PGAW. And as you can see from reply's i am not making this stuff up . I don`t come here if its not broken . Jester is calling out targets 12 o'clock yet its not there maybe going over 1080p has some thing to do with it , Who here is online flying at 4k res .

Yes im at 3200x1800 . 1080p looks awful now i cant go back to that . lol im hoping to go VR next year with the new cards on the market . and these run at nearly 4k res . So spotting has been broken am i right thinking that .

Whats happend , a few months back i could see black dots on the skyline in fact videos were made and we could see up to 22 miles . Now i cant see a dam thing in close combat i cant see any black dots some times the aircraft disappear this was online . F14 - jester calling out stuff and i cant see them even when in close . Without jester its just as bad . ??? What went wrong . ! This is a Combat flight sim . We should be able to see things zoom out i see white dots on the ground zoom in it disappears . FOV . One flight simulator has just updated its poor spotting due to Deferred shading why cant DCS . Come on guys our computers are getting faster and faster yet still we cant see . !!!!!! What is the plan here this has been going on for quite some time .. its 2020 .

As per title i get really bad stutters coming into land . What is the reason behind this . ? Also get odd stutter ever 15 seconds or so . 32GB 1866 memory . 4.3Ghz cpu Gtx1070 2k res

This is what im talking about just look at your system you have . And you get problems also , so its not hardware related its 2.5 DCS . So the conspiracy is true . :cry: Something not right here ..!!

i don't come here much but i can see old posts going back years and still we are talking about the same old frustrations and fails in this sim / game that we had years back . 32GB ram needed for online play that is definitely wrong . To me it just seems nothing is getting fixed but more and more content is being pushed out the door . That's what i see here . Thank you for your offer to help me i shall look again into settings . Going to install my old GtX-1070 see how that goes . And reset all to default . But i have a good system and DCS should work . My other sims run very good . How long has 2.5 been out .

i tried tonight to attack ships and could not get a lock with ship mfd . Mav was jumping and i got so close to ship and still no lock ..????

Its a mess at the moment . Not happy . Thats all i have too say . You can mess with your setting for ever wont change a thing just look at the state of people mucking around with setting just to get clear smooth game play . $60 for a module and maps and hardware . Cant even have a decent online experience .

Openbeta wow what a mess . Its a stuttering mess online . I have 32GB of ram and load in and 11GB is being used before even taking off . Clearly this is not good . Single play i have no issues but i don`t come here to single player with out a good campaign . Yes its Openbeat but its the only place to go for online decent servers . The net code is duff . This has been going on for years ...!!!! YEARS . Getting tired of the conspiracy that DCS isnt surposed to be fixed dangle carrots to the community . Tonight nothing but frustration poor fps and stuttering . Not going to invest in a NASA computer just to run decent frames in multiplayer . DCS sort it out . its your hard drive . that speed is no good for dcs , you need to run 7000 rpm . i bought a 2tb 5400 and put into my desktop and i have stutters and stutters the hard drive is playing catch up . i installed on a 2tb 7000rpm and no problems .

Are any other games running smooth and with no stutters . make sure all drivers are up to date . Run 512 in options . Turn off shadows and test .

second hand 1080 . that's what i would go for , sound like you had a bad card .

Since new patch Jester is calling out locked a Friendly when on TID its showing as a Enemy arrow prefix . Several locks and Jester calling out friend . Break lock only to be engaged by same target . Use TV but contact is to far too ID .

Online server PGAW going into dogfights close range jester can not pick up close targets or even far targets that are right in front of us 80% he is good ..?? ok lets PAL targets . no luck there is no diamond vsl works low , not tried Hi . anyone else . :pilotfly:

Today on GAW server ,I went to engage PAL , i had no moving diamond normally there is one . VSL low works I have a diamond moving up and down .
