Absolutely. I hope they will be pre-programmable in the ME like in other modules, and in the long run, I hope ED offers the option to even change the pre-programmed settings in the arming menue for MP.

The last livery is interesting but not very representative. It was an experimental livery that never made it into the fleet. I think this particular plane was called "Wolkenkuh" ("Cloud Cow") because of the very distinctive camo pattern.

You mean the flags on Caucasus map can be changed to USSR? Would that pass IC? Do you have a link or a hint where to look, I could not find it.

When you call GCI/AWACS for a vector to homeplate in a Blufor aircraft with English ATC, GCI/AWACSwill erronously give the location of the homeplate in relation to bullseye, which of course is always the same. You do not get a vector. In Soviet/Russian aircraft with Russian ATC this works perfectly fine, you get the vector as required. Track shows the bug. Creech AFB is Bullseye, Nellis AFB is homeplate, aircraft is east of Nellis. Vector should be something like 270°, but GCI always just gives "bulls 124 for 34", which is from Bullseye to Nellis AFB. As of 2.9 something, MiG-29 feels again like ED has moved back to the old pitch dampening settings... It's like a deja vu from 2020 or so. It was good while it lasted. I fear the worst for the FF MiG-29A.

You probably mean "theoretically, every single user of MiG-29A could use both missile variants", because according to my book source, the East German AF for example never aquired the R-27T, only the R-27R.

There are English cockpit mods for both, I use them too. Check the user files at the DCS main page for author "Devrim".

-T is more advanced, has a HUD and a Shkval optical targeting system and can carry smart weapons at the cost of less top speed and a general pronounced sluggishness. -T is sort of a pre-production aircraft that never went into mass production, unlike the standard Su-25.

Abgesehen davon war die MiG-29 9.12 für eine kurze Zeitspanne durchaus "state of the art", in Cold War-Szenarien wird sie sich sehr gut behaupten können... es gibt ja in DCS durchaus etwas mehr (historische) Bandbreite an Szenarien als nur die öden PvP SPAMRAAM Server wie GS et al.

Ah, you are right, I was only thinking of their FF modules MiG-15, Mi-8, Mi-24.

i am positive ED will include an English cockpit, as they have done so with all their Soviet modules so far, and I really think it’s a good idea to do so.

East German AF skin is a must (I think this is a photo taken by MiGCAP, hope he doesn't mind me using it here, his great photos are all over the net)
