  1. thanks for your help mate...after checking with regedit that entries, the only one I have (appart of the modules and terrains) is the one of the open beta...so what now?, can I manually create a new entry pointing to the folder I have my 2.2 installed? thanks! EDIT: this is how it looks:
  2. Ok, thanks! Btw...managed to use my 4g to download the thing (13gb updating my OB) but my surprise is...after installing the 2.5 correctly, I had no prompt to uninstall my 2.2 and once inside the 2.5 I have the red label into the modules manager asking me to install Normandy, Nevada, Assets pack, and some modules?¿?¿?¿?...could it be due to the fact that I moved my 2.2 install to a different location and now it didn't recognized my 2.2??? how can I make 2.5 to "see" that I have a 2.2 with Nevada, Normandy, etc?... thanks!!
  3. what's wrong with Normandy?? thanks!
  4. I highly doubt it as Im trying with my 4g (80Mb/s) and I get 50kb/s so...
  5. I cant understand how do you achive such high speeds ...
  6. Great!...200kb though
  7. It would be nice to start releasing it today, as people like me with extremely poor internet connection can handle the download with more dignity and help release pressure on the servers...
  8. So doing that makes the changes done with the nvidia control panel to work in DCS?...how is the performance and the image quality of the settings you posted? Thanks!
  9. thanks for your contribution to the FM Maverick Su-35S!!, interesting stuff you posted, really appreciated. Hope it can make the FM better.
  10. What a surprise, the Viper wins...once again :D
  11. but what EXACTLY has been fixed?, I can't tell the difference. thanks!
  12. exactly what's fixed about afterburners?¿?¿?...I can't see any difference at all...they still missing right?
  13. +1, or at least fix the actual ones which are not working very well...
  14. Yeah, I know what MLU means, thats why I asked to elaborate as I thought it could mean some kind of upgrade for the plane in terms of tech, systems, etc.
  15. And me!
  16. Sorry mate but not sure what you mean...this "update" will remove things which never happened before so not sure what to do with my stuff...guess best thing is to save it somewhere else just in case... thanks!
  17. what about all skins and such?, I mean, should we save them before installing 2.5? I ask because of the "uninstallation promp" which may remove ALL folders including custom skins and/or files... thanks!!
  18. MLU for the 2000?really?could you elaborate please.
  19. As Texac said, what I requested is the ability to use the zoom as an axis.
  20. Simple as that...I cant understand why there is an axis option for the internal "cockpit" zoom but there is no an axis (or the same axis btw) for the external views so I would love to have this in DCS. thanks!!
  21. Yeah, I know how to "fix" it...however, doing that everytime I want to play DCS is a pain in the neck thats why I said a proper working DSR would be great as most games don't behave like that when using DSR and so you dont need to do "tricks" everytime.
  22. Hi, since the first 2.2 release, as soon as you start a mission with the wind set at anything more than 1 knt to get the white caps, they look great but Im pretty sure they "change" or "evolve" too fast (like half a second to create one and disipate for the smaller ones). I know its a bug because in the first 2.2 version, once you climb to 20.000ft (iirc) then, for some reason, once you went down to the sea the white caps had a PERFECT pace so that's how they were supposed to behave. However, in the last 2.2, the "20000ft trick" doesnt work anymore though I managed to get them working right again in a very long mission after a lot of time where suddenly they were evolving at the right pace again (you could focus on one white cap and see how it evolved and smoothly and slowly it disipates, just as it should be). I know the pace changes according to the level of wind set (faster as the wind is slower and slower pace as the wind increases which is correct) but its like the white caps behave at 2X or 4X speed at all levels and is not realistic to see a big wave disipating the foam in a matter of half second...also they feel like "popping" instead of slowly developing when they behave wrong. As I said, it must be a bug as when I used the trick they were perfect. In the last Hornet video in the caucasus 2.5 they are clearly being too fast evolving white caps so looks like it wasn't solved then yet I hope you guys can solve this issue for the upcoming 2.5 version. thanks!!
  23. Usually, supersampling is heavier in the GPU than running the game at the equivalent real resolution...what I think would be the best thing is fixing the issue where using DSR makes the mouse not able to click things into the cockpit due to mismatch between the actual game screen size and the full screen adjusted screen size...that would be a great fix.
