  1. Thanks but he talked about SoH new screens or thats what I understood and there are no new screens about soh there, thats why I asked...guess hes wrong.
  2. Where are those screens?...I cant find any new one...thanks!
  3. The Viper is THE fighter aircraft to me, and a true legend :worthy:, I have no doubt we MUST have this one, it would even be able to balance the redfor team in such a great way... If its not the next big ED project after the hornet I will be very disppointed to be honest, time will say.
  4. Yeah, AB fx has been broken for so long that I cant remember how it looked...a proper dynamic and volumetric spitting sparkles ab fx would be a great addition (as stated in the specs that would be what I would consider "realistic" for the 2000)...about the vapour I opened a thread about this a few days ago but no answer was made.
  5. Pretty much that, being an iconic module and plane, and having in mind the huge amount of skins there will be for it, I would love if you could make different textures for each external fuel tank as well as for each engine nozzle...there are many skins for the tanks and there are no two tanks looking the same...same for the nozzles, it would be great to be able to paint one of the dark while the other in white (many hornets look like that). It would be great also for unique weathering effects. Thanks and hope you can do this.
  6. Check this video about 6:30 sec...not a 2000c but smoke is pretty much the same...lots of moments where you can see how smoky it is (when not in ab of course)
  7. Smoke looks correct to me according to videos.
  8. Amazing job dude, congrats!! the weathering is superb!
  9. I forgot to post some more of my screens, here you have. Cheers!
  10. AMEN!, thats more or less what I asked in the live stream topic...having such an "isolated" wing flex looks too "artificial" even if the flex is physically accurate...introducing some noise/animation to it would make it TONS better.:)
  11. Sorry mate but, though there are camera shake also, wings do wobble A LOT!...you can see it in some videos when the plane is just flying straight (so camera should be very stable) just because of the turbulences and speed.
  12. yeah!, Im not even asking for any kind of simulation to be done for this, just an animation with some kind of randomization depending of obvious parameters would be more than enough, we just need the visual effect here. The flex alone by itself looks a bit "sterile" without the commonly associated wobble/vibration and the Hornet is one the the most "wobble wing" fighter aircrafts I have seen so its the perfect plane for this :)...also, this effect makes you "feel" the wind flowing through the wings which imho is a great thing. Of course, the flex looks already superb in the video, just I think it needs that vibration to make it just fully awesome  thanks!!
  13. Are we going to get also wing "wobble" over the already existing wing flex? thanks!
  14. Just curious, are the trees showed in the summer video the "speed tree" ones?...I ask because the winter ones look much better than the summer ones imo (winter seem to have branches, leaves and more detailed textures). Nice streaming, thanks for doing it and happy new year!
  15. Yeah, would love to see some FM goodies and some good vapour over lex and/or wings if possible. Also would like to see the map at high altitude
  16. +1, thought exactly the same the other day when using the nevada 476 range mod, its a pity to move large amounts of units or even deleting them one by one, etc.
  17. Great!thanks both, will try when at home
  18. Jojo, stupid question maybe but Im out for holydays and cant test myself...when you say "ap off" button you mean the "ap ON/off" button or there is an specific OFF button??... Thanks a lot!
  19. Yeah, agree with all you said though, imo the sound generated by the frame is much lower than the one generated by the engine...in fact, except the plane is performing a high speed pass at idle power and very close to the listener, I dont think you would perceive any noticeable frame noise. Thats something I think should be improved in the new wip sounds, as the wind noise generated by the frame seems too loud imo, you can hear it a several hundreds meters and at mil/ab power which is not relistic...as soon as the engine is at anything more than idle, the spl of it is so high that it masks anything else (at least thats my general experience, especial cases appart). The pdf you posted is VERY interesting, thanks for sharing! Also nice to see that the experiment supports what I thought about AB sound behaviour respect mil power, and the band of frequencies altered, which I think would even be wider if the test could be done with the plane in the air, as other factors would alter response such as wind direction or sound reflections in buildings or terrain and especially ground plane gain which in that case should be very high (about 3db). About the 30ft peak I guess it could be due to the speed of the flow coming from the nozzles altering sound waves propagation and the own isolation created for the plane/nozzles but its odd as sound propagates in all directions so maybe you are right about wavelegnth. Great vids btw, I had already watched the first one myself  I have tested some butt kickers at home and in theaters but imho they are not even close to what real "room presurizing" bass can achieve...they felt like coach massaging device more than a proper high end audio gear but dont get me wrong, they have also good things like you dont need huge spl levels to achieve "tactile" effect nor also so huge amounts of power to drive large woofers.
  20. You can add that the "minimum altitude selector" knob under the hud in the rad altimeter section is bugged since a lot of time...it behaves differently depending on if you use mouse wheel or "click+drag" and in general the control is totally bugged (values seem to be infinite when using the mouse wheel while dragging gets stuck at -100 many times). This happens, at least, in the last 2.2.
  21. Sorry mate, but its been explained thats due to how real plane stick works (not equal deflection for positive and negative input)...anyway I can ASSURE you its a matter of get used to it...I have PERFECT control over it after just a few hours of flight and its even A LOT better than before because its way more accurate than before while at the same time you can be as hard as you want in a dogfight so please, don't blame what is right.:) Seriously mate, give it some time and you will change your mind no doubt!! The only complain I have right now is the tail slide FM which is obviously out of realism...other than that Im really enjoying the new FM and the new controls.
  22. Great to know, have no idea of their name so I called them "canards" :P ...thanks!:)
  23. True but, believe me, chest bass is nothing compared to infrasonic bass ...there is a HUGE difference between chest kick and what "bass heads", like me :D, call "trousers flapping" ultra deep bass ;). I have felt 10Hz at 100db and my eyeballs were about to explode and world felt like reaching its end, a mental experience :)...thats a critical factor to realistically make fighter aircrafts to sound REAL, but obviously not the only one (but the most hardware demanding)...in fact, I would prefer having more air distortion sound, cracking/popping sounds and randomness than actually pure bass output as it would definitilly sound closer to what you can hear in videos, for instance, which don't have the quality nor the high dynamic range but sounds with the same "signature" as real life and at the end of the day thats whats really important imho. In the Hornet sound test video I like how it seems to have more "grunt" once the plane has past ahead of the camera and there are some more evident "cracking" sounds, even when it looks like the plane is not at after burner power which is great as the difference between the mil power and afterburner in real life is just an "slightly" increased sound presure level (more/deeper bass, more cracking/grunt more kicking mid frequencies) but it doesn't mean that a fighter plane won't blown you out of the water in mil power. Also, you can't notice any kind of "seam" between AB and no AB nor any kind of "explosion" sound when engaging/disengaging AB. I have heard many times spanish Hornets/Eurofighters/mirages F-1 and other planes like Mirage 2000/Tornado/F-15/F-5, etc. and at mil power it felt the same as when in afterburner just at lower SPL (but EXTREME SPL anyway).
  24. Yeah, I know, but Razbam never said anything about it so thats why I wondered if there is plans on adding this features...its the same as cockpit global illumination, which I would LOVE to see implemented in the m2000 but Razbam hasn't say anything about it. Well, you can say its "not much" or barely visible, but there MUST be some wing flex unless the materials have infinite rigidity (which is not the case)...that said, you might be right about the slats giving the impresion of bigger flex so yeah, maybe its so little that is barely visible in which case I understand its not worth adding it...however hope the vapour could be implemented asap. also would be great if they could implement vapour vortex of the little canards which is also quite common in mirages 2000:
  25. no one knows if there is an official template for the m2000 please?
