  1. I'm sure we can wrangle so ex RNZAF pilots (or even some current RAAF who transferred from the RNZAF) to help out if need be.
  2. Engine Temp – I would assume they are referring to the intake temp and thus the temp of the charge in the cylinder prior to compression and ignition cycle. By adding the water into the intake you are effectively cooling the pre charge of air and also increasing its density. This means you drive the engine harder (more rpm’s) without premature detonation of the charge. This was the German answer to not having as much access to higher octane fuel supplies that the allies had.
  3. looking fantastic!
  4. As for the mount - will need to have a think about it. I just have a desk so it's going to have to be a clamp or a floor mount approach (with custom made pole). I'd say the desk mount is the most likely approach. Will get back to you.
  5. Despite being wiki, it does provide a overall view of the history of ejector seats http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ejection_seat
  6. Where's the A-4 you are going to?
  7. Yes a Kahu version would be great but of course would be happy with a Vietnam era type! http://redkiwi.weebly.com/project-kahu.html

  12. Yep - was a wild and windy day which in terms of watching an airshow was disappointing
  13. I've had the MFG Crosswind pedals shipped from Croatia to Australia so if the finished product is what I hope it will be then I would commit to it.
  14. Have a look here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=airscape.mag

  18. It's been asked and I know the A2A firmly have their plans on FSX/Prepar3d as it's their strategy (look at the GA aircraft that they develop) so I can't see it happening. I've been a big fan of their work with Accusim and think it's a fantastic product within the FSX world. I would love to see elements of the product into DCS such as persistent engine/aircraft wear and tear as at the end of the day that's one of the core aspects to Accusim - it makes the flight simmer approach the aircraft as a owner who has a interest in looking after it.
  19. Cheers for the update, looking good!
  20. crazyeddie - thanks for posting this, when you are done do you intend to upload to the user file section?
