  1. If you missed it have a read of this http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=122801
  2. Thus the reason to lock them when you shut down :)
  3. Yes - I am running full screen and have got the cam to work
  4. First up ArturDCS - great job with making this happen. I've been playing around with this and SPAD to see what works best for me. For DCS of course this application works just how I want it to work so happy with it - however for other titles like CLOD, BOS, or FSX it doesn't work (even as a keyboard emulator which is what I was hoping it would do but didn't expect it to work off the bat). SPAD on the other hand does't work with CLOD, DCS, or BOS so it really comes down to what is my primary Sim that I want the switch panel to work with. So for games I'd like to use (as a keyboard emulator): CLOD BOS FSX A question - with the application set to not detect "DCS" should i expect that it can write to wordpad as a keyboard emulator (to test the function)?

  6. I don't usually take part in speculation about releases but in this case I REALLY am hoping it will be
  7. Agree, sounds a good and flexible approach and it's best to keep it simple - best to lock in the scope.
  8. Regarding the switches, would the intention be to have them unlabeled so they are generic as opposed to labeling them? I've listed a possible config that I know I would use and where I have tried to limit the switches to cover both sides of the cockpit i.e. left side and front dash only. I did this as a way to work out in my own mind what number of switched would I go for. I couldn't think of any use of the rotary encoders. In fact there are lot of 3-way switches in the P-51D cockpit rather than two position however I think the aim should be to make it fairly generic for the use with other aircraft.
  9. I really love this app but I have to ask (because I'd like to know) who is using it? Just inter squad use or are some people running this alongside their servers?
  10. You'll need the fire control system of the Aim-54 to be able to use the missile to fire at that range - the fire control system on the F-15C (within DCS world) wouldn't view the missile as the Aim-54, like you said, it's probably thinking it's a AIM-120 or AIM-7
  11. Tom_Weiss would know - he's done a number of mods to add lift lines to the canopies of DCS aircraft
  12. TeeJay - the F-111B was developed to use the Aim-54 but that version of the F-111 never got past development testing and was later replaced with the F-14
  13. Check out the back seater - he/she is holding a camera and pointing my way (this was part of a 3 ship formation flight over Sydney harbor for Australia Day, 26 Jan 2014): Hawk 127 A27-04 Australia Day 2014 by Oesau, on Flickr Hawk 127 - Australia Day 2014 Flyby by Oesau, on Flickr Hawk 127 - A27-31 Australia Day 2014 by Oesau, on Flickr
  14. The only negative I experienced was the initial firmware upgrading process where the pedals had to be unplugged (USB) but's a thing of the past with the later firmware boot tool - so really at the moment I can't give you any negatives from my point of view. Well actually.... I wished Milian had made these earlier!
  15. Got these pedals a few months back and got rid of the Saitek Pedals and they are a huge step up in terms of quality, feel, and performance - Milian's done a great job and has continued the development of his supporting firmware and utility. If you have the $ - couldn't suggest any other pedals
  16. Since i haven't read about the Bradley I can't really comment on what happened and how that related to the other fighter comps, but as a starter have a watch of these documentaries: Have a look at this doco http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGco66RoJtc and for the JSF http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbPx6rQO3qg
  17. I actually didn't do anything special to make it work... Here's my settings
  18. Yes I've been using it and it's been helpful for 1.2.7 testing - I have found however that it often (not always) records at the incorrect aspect ratio and the quality is poor. It's def good for testing but not so good for videos as the quality isn't on par with FRAPS
  19. I've posted a potential bug over in the beta forum - but thought it worth posting here just in case anyone else online during the test noticed this http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1959375#post1959375
  20. IvanK and me doing some tanking practice whilst on the Firehouse Stress Test server (1.2.7): lhncoHiIR-E
  21. Thanks for the host Eno - no crashes for me but I did have a strange map issue that showed destroyed map objects (as white so not red or blue) that I will do some further testing on
  22. Ok great, thanks Eno will give it a go
  23. I'll have to miss this one as it's 03:00 Sydney time.
  24. Whilst the uniforms clearly don't match the skin it still looks good IMHO:
