  1. But this is your opinion and desire, which is of course your right. I don't care about the maps and scenarios, I only care about the planes, so I would prefer anything else to a G6. I would rather fly with a Zero on Normandie than with another 109
  2. If you disagree and why, feel free to say.
  3. Google this : [PDF] EXPLOSIVE WEAPON EFFECTS First link. The Shrapnel of a MK82 (500Ibs) can penetrate 32mm steel at 16m according to this document. The btr in the picture above have ~9nm armour and stand about ~15-18m away. However, that was an 1100Ibs bomb.
  4. I would also very very much like to see a Bf109 g6. But again a 109 that has very similar handling to the 109k4? Then better take the resources and build a P38, Yak, F6F or others.
  5. I wonder what the firing of the Fox1 will look like in the F4, does the target get a warning immediately after the Fox1 is launched? In DCS it is the case that every launch of a Fox1 triggers an RWR missile warning. Does the Aim7 see the back radiation from the target on 20-30nm? or is it first guided into the vicinity with data link/radio signals?

    INS fix?

in The Viggen and F16 there is in any case a drift when the GPS is off or not present and need a NavFix I think this is also the case with other aircraft in DCS.
  7. "continue to radiate" with TMS UP held? are you sure, check this again more closely in M3. small hint "BORESIGHT NO RAD BORESIGHT RAD UPON RELEASE"
  8. Whether this is intended with the setting remains to be seen, but for now we know what causes the bad picture. @NineLineI think we have found the cause.
  9. @okopanjais that a thing for you?
  10. what you describe I will test but for an alignment a trackfile is important.
  11. Unfortunately, this is not a work around. The radar should follow TMS UP held, but it doesn't, it slews to the new position only after releasing, which can also lead to unwanted effects
  12. 1. turn off the "Cockpit Global Illumination", this makes the difference in the skhval. 2. I almost never adjust the contrast, is always default 3.2070s
  13. "slave radar" only this is not the case at the moment the radar does not slave but waits at the old position until you release TMS Forward, this is a bug.
  14. okay another one. My settings your
  15. so I tried it without zoom and kept your view Mine: your what are your graphics settings?
  16. so this is what it feels like have looked at his mission and the track, for me it looks the same from the sharpness as before only in green what i see in his track: @okopanja does mine look better than yours? Your pictures are unfortunately quite small that you have sent here and therefore I do not recognize anything.
  17. if you see a problem, the best way to reproduce it is to start a quick start mission, do what triggers the error, finish the mission and you will have a track that is 1-3 minutes long, which is a good track.
  18. People are welcome to share their grief. But just saying this and that seems to be broken is not very helpful. Without being a video or a track of the situation, that usually helps more than 1000 words and then you can judge whether this observation is now correct or still needs adjustment. I have now heard several complaints about the hdg or hover hold, but still no track or video of it..
  19. Hmm. Interesting I'll have to take a closer look at that too. I played a mission on Syria yesterday and had no trouble at all with the screen. It felt the same as always only this time the image was green. But your pictures again show a difference.
  20. @pabletesoy For me this looks okay for now in this scenario if shrapnel is modeled in the future, it might do a more damage, but that's what we currently have. waht is see in you track: 500kg bomb If there is time, you can test the whole thing again on sand or other surfaces, if the results are different there, it would be worth a look. for comparison for my observation a BMP2 or BTR would have good chances where the black car stands
  21. thanks but in the video he doesn't really go into detail about HDG or hover hold. therefore send a track or a video of your observed behavior.
  22. Try them in their test of other vehicles. the AAV7 seems to me quite tanky and is therefore not so representative. take therefore rather a BMP2/BTR80 or similar as "APC" equivalent I will also have a closer look at this.
  23. It would have been nice to get the option under Special Optione which colour you prefer. When I look at some of the videos, there are both grey and green.
