  1. That's exactly why we should use CBU87 as a comparison. and I have tested it again and was surprised against the T80U makes the Blu97 but only 8% damage T80U Direct hit: CBU 87/Blu97: 8%Damage MK20/MK118: ~25% damage BMP2 Direct hit : CBU 87/Blu97: 57% MK20/MK118: 100%
  2. Hm but why did the harm strike so far before the SA15? Was the radar already off? @bonesvf103
  3. I would not compare the CPU 97 with the MK20 and its mk118. Rather compare the cbu87, the blu97 bomblets are much more similar to the mk118. MK118 : Blu97 In my last test, a direct hit from the Blu 97 was enough to destroy a tank, but I'll have to look at that again. I do not decide such things
  4. which mod are you talking about exactly, do you have a link?
  5. thx. I have reduced the number of bomblets to 1 to better see what is happening and a direct hit of a MK118 from the MK20 does the following damage to a T80U
  6. can you upload some tracks from your observations?
  7. I just wanted to clarify that. The Aim120 also takes the closest point to the aircraft for ignition.
  8. Okay first few rounds the engine failed without dust protection. after that i tested it 4 times with protection until the tank was out. no error i have also experienced that this happens during long low flights over water hm okay, I'll test that too then
  9. Aim120 PF is 7m in DCS.
  10. @Volk.@Flappie I'll have a look at it today. A few weeks ago I was able to reproduce it.
  11. is it intended that the target aircraft is so enormously fast? I mean a 20-nm shot at a target of 1.88Mach and a defensive initiation? For such test purposes, I would always take 1M for the firing platform and the target. If something crazy should happen then you can evaluate it better.

    F-15E vs. F-18C

It's not supposed to show range, it's supposed to consider the range estimate to the emitter in its classification of the threat. I know what is meant by this, but thx
  13. as soon as IPv4 is enabled both are possible, why no idea. I only know after I called my provider and asked to unlock IPv4 for me anyone could join my server. before that nothing worked

    F-15E vs. F-18C

do you have a reference that the current F18 RWR should show the range?
  15. Korrigiere mich wenn ich falsch liege aber soweit ich weiß wollen die das das Modul Gratis bleibt? ach siehst Hiob sagt es auch nochmal.
  16. yep in a newslater/miniupdate there was also something that you can customize the MFD in the F18 in DCS, I think the same will come for the F16.
  17. hm okay yes, I'm aiming directly at the target, I would have interpreted the description to mean that 10knots Wind can still be compensated for direct lasering and so it comes to 1m CEP. but of course it could be meant that way, thank you.
  18. Sorry, I misspoke, because I meant static targets with the question. the GBU12 has always a CEP of 4-6m in DCS for static targets at 10knots wind. But the source says 1m for these parrameters.
  19. Set in the editor the ships that are meant for the mission and then throw a bomb of your choice on it, this is an effort of ~5min The Perry class for example can be destroyed with 2gbu31pen, but it's been a while since I tested that.
  20. Nice thx. But what about the thing that 10knots wind makes for a larger cep in dcs. Than the sources that give an average cep of 1m. Are these not correct?
  21. It looks like. So yes.
  22. yep, apparently it has something to do with the wind. a GBU12 has a CEP of 1m at 10knots according to some sources. in DCS the GBU12 has a CEP of 4-6m at 10knots wind. this in combination with moving targets = miss
  23. even the typical Mav crosshair is missing here? you must definitely try to create a track.
  24. I can't say for sure if it is, but it seems that the bomb flies a slight offset all the time, if it was looking directly as soon as the laser is seen, which shouldn't be a problem, it would hit the target on final flight. offset.zip.acmi So the question is whether this offset is intended and whether these are the limits of GBU12? But the GBU12 has a CEP of 1m in DCS and can pull ~3,2G so where does this offset come from?
  25. where do you get this info and how do you know this is correct for what we see ingame? and how is it to be Interpreting if the SD 10 just draws more than 30G? similar with the Aim120 42G
