So Sith im curious i know we dont really have any intimate details of this new damage model, but for curiosity sake ballistic damage on wings and or fuselage will this cause any Aerodynamic effects aka increase in drag and or disruption of the dynamics of flight? Pretty excited for this, enhancement finally took the time and really am into the tail draggers in DCS world they are very good modules. Plus i think they are the most fun in VR

  6. that map is the old one with Bartheks 7.0 textures i do believe. But could be mistaken either way winter is in season forsure. The Airframe looks great! Also pleasantly surprised the rockets where deadly, nice shooting.
  7. great videos, all your drops where good, weapon terminal effects and the damage modeling on vehicles is kind of silly in dcs hence why a soft skinned truck didnt get folded in half by a mk82 that hit 10-20 meters away....
  8. Ya i have allot to say but its not allowed in this forum. But its frustrating this stuff gets pushed to the right and ww2 stuff seems to be the focus.... I would rather the current air frames we have be fully functional rather than the state they are in now..
  9. I hope that when the new system they are making comes out its an actual thermal based system and its dynamic similar to another land based simulator/game. Currently its not based on thermals at all.
  10. Well they are supposedly working on a new thermal imagery which i doubt we will see until f18 comes out....
  11. in all honestly it hasnt helped in blueflag in the engagements ive been in. Good GCI is what has helped. I can see both sides of this coin and agree have a pod option/ or enforceable via the server host aka mission maker.

  13. Not doubting anybodies ability but i do agree with you that i hope we see something soon on the functionality of these more ADVANCED weapon systems and how they can be of use in the Current DCS environment. :D
  14. Oh i feel the same way but in the same token the aircraft module is done to a wonderful standard only to have weapon systems and effects of those not modeled to the same standard. Same with the damage models. Hence why i have floated the question around to the devs how is the BK90 going to function? Is going to be like the the Beluga on the mirage waiting for ED to put in a proper function of the weapon system or in this case did Leatherneck being a very good 3rd party get that all done in house so on the 27th we have a fully functional weapon system? This is a COMBAT simulator....
  15. Really puts it in perspective how long and how much work goes into these modules. Thanks for sharing. But i will be honest im holding off on buying this module as im very curious how well these new weapon systems will actually function in the dcs environment. Currently damage and weapons modeling especially in the cluster munitions department really needs new life. Hope this is taken care of with the viggen otherwise its a wait and see at this point. After all, all these air frames are just infill platforms for weapon systems, thus hoping for more than health bars on ships and the lot....

  17. they really need to give it a year or two then bring out the next iteration. Or make one a modular system that can be upgraded as new screens and optics come out....

  20. ok so see if i get this right, we will have to replace the current setup 3 waypoints with news ones in the pit, in order to add more aka 4 5 6 ... and so on??
  21. thanks for reply but that is exactly the case the ins has 3 waypoints already with the mission but when i go to add a new one aka 4th waypoint it does not work, Have all the knobs in the right place and settings. Set in N and NAV ive tried in all quick flight missions and online for some reason i cant get this to work Also i follow chucks guide to the T as their is nothing in the manual about this...
  22. Ok guys been away awhile getting back into mirage, to the point i can not add waypoints to the ins aka in blueflag want to add a waypoint for a farp or whatever. When i go to prep and hit say 04 to add a 4th waypoint in will just do nothing stay at zero and the lat and long will not go to all zeros like all the tuturials and videos ive seen. I must be doing something wrong or is this a new bug?? Please help Mirage experts thank you Crom

  24. so question to the Devs, will this have proper cluster weapon function? Unlike the CLuster munition on the Mirage? Evidently is a ED thing they need to import proper cluster munition profile for the Beluga to function correctly, will we be waiting for a properly functioning BK90 Also????
