Thanks for the heads up at least their is communication on this now rather than day of. Major online server hosters have already stated they will be running the beta to support Leatherneck. If you think about it the open beta is the better version to run as its the same thing minus the very few situations like this.

So if i understand correctly which i may not, currently its set up for realistic loadouts, and you will be adding not realistic loadouts in the future? If that is the case i vote to maintain the realistic loadouts

i hope so to but the viggen is releasing and im sure it will only be 1.5 hence no 2.0 update. But hope to be wrong

BLueflag is strike missions, you have the coordinates to all tgts thanks to the website or app. Your not doing cas your striking tgts. So i see the viggen being very useful as along as the bk-90 are allowed....

sounds like a bunch of spawn campers to me, so its unfortunate the ww2 stuff is just a bunch of Air quakers aswell. Hopefully missions get more fleshed out in normandy with some real escort and ground attack missions going.

Nope more like a A10c in my mind, P-47 had more effect on the ground war than the air war by huge margins. Just look at the ground kill count for the 47's, hence why its called a fighter bomber.... but either way look forward to it if it does come so we can do those epic hunter killer missions in Normandy.

p47 is the the A10c of ww2 ugly not many like her but very effective at everything it did. Really hope the p47 is coming aswell as the me262. Just saw a P-47d in person at the WW2 air museum in Colorado springs, very impressive! P-47 is my number one wish

+1 hope this is implemented some time soon. As most who are serious about dcs and VR are running the 10 series cards and if not yet will more likely get the 1080ti. Also arnt most games with game works just added and bolted on to the engines as a after thought anyway...? This would only benefit as Vr is really the future with this sim in my opinion as its revolutionary compared to 2d

I think it would be interesting to have but in same token just put friendly troops in the area to challenge peoples target id in missions. Fact is enemies these days use civilians as shields and use places like Mosques and hospitals as well. Different countries in the world have different tactics of dealing with this type of scenarios also. This discussion can go both ways but the fact is its a combat simulator correct? How deep it goes is pretty limited in my opinion currently.

Cobra, in regards to a few minor things not being functional, does this include cluster munition functionality of the Bk-90? This is the most exciting weapon system in my eyes.

Yes but YO-YO same could be said about the silly aircraft repair mechanic in game. Where as this adjustments would add much to the marksmaship to the Airmanship..
