  1. There's a river texture height issue about 14 bridges west of Tower Bridge and if you follow the river in that direction at low level, you'll see it. Here's a few photos of it. Thanks UGRA and ED. Cheers, J nullnullnull

  2. Yes, they need to fix this...it is not working properly still. J
  3. AND IT'S DOING IT AGAIN...
  4. Thanks to @foxit @afnav130and @WizzRD The T/O TRIM solved the problem and the stick pull I'm used to in real aircraft is hard to do on a stock TM Warthog with no extension and the spring loaded gimble controls. It's doing much better now. As Wizard said too, the weight and all other factors mentioned seem to be spot on. More testing to do, but the module seems well modeled so far. No deaths in the MUDHEN yet.
  5. The F-15E STREAGLE has a similar takeoff issue that the C-101 experienced a couple of years ago where it sticks to the runway at rotation and you have to put more aft stick pressure to get it to lift off and then it lunges up and jumps off with a higher than normal nose attitude. [SOLVED]
  6. This is a BUG...it works fine on HOT-START missions. I'm reporting it in the Bug Section now. https://forum.dcs.world/forum/1173-bugs-and-problems/ In DCS we can't do hand signals like for real, so just having the command in the menu no matter what the canopy or engine or comm state is the best thing to do.
  7. Not An Issue...carry on.
  8. Thanks R...it was weird, that was the only standard mapping that was broken.
  9. SOLVED-In my view settings, the Right ALT NumPad Zero combo had been reset and wasn't saving to the LUA...thanks for everyone's help. J
  10. Thanks for the confidence vote but I only have the Release Open Beta installed. No Development Builds on my PC. I'd have to wait for the release like everyone else. It's up to ED when it comes out.
  11. Yes, sir...that takes it to what is set...but not related to what is happening. I can adjust the FOV like before, save it with R Alt Num 0 like always. But shutting down the game and relaunching later, it goes back to the old settings.
  12. @Rudel_chw I have saved both my Mustang SnapViewLua sections for Default FOV from 80 to 62...but when I go into the program, they are back at 80. I also set them in the Options and hit R ALT + NUM 0 to save it...tried this both ways...still not holding the settings. What am I doing wrong? I have nothing mapped to ZOOM in settings, I don't use it in DCS. Hope you are doing well...Juice
  13. @NineLine @BIGNEWY @Rudel_chw This is what I've been saying for months now...there needs to be a filter for Terrains (Maps) on both the User Files DL section as well as the E-Shop for Campaign purchase filter. ~ Juice
  14. We had issues with NTTR when it came out...the Mag Declination wasn't programmed in and I think something similar is happening on Normandy 2. Cabi and I are flying on nav plans and the true heading gets us to the destination when we it should be magnetically adjusted for the variation....
  15. Meaning the Mag Compass is set to true north and not fudged to represent the magnetic declination. We had this issue when Nevada first came out.
  16. ALT F4 when flying should work.
  17. @Rudel_chw With the new release, I think the Normandy map is coded backwards on Mag Vari...test it and see what you notice. Juice
  18. Hey everyone, I'm working with @BIGNEWY for more information how to help in this process and will pass this information to my contacts Tim and Corey at NLR. AWG received this product for review and I have done an initial setup video and will be forwarding it to another AWG team member (Tekada, our former Army Blackhawk Pilot) for his assessment. More on that soon. EDIT: From Tim Joyce at NLR just now. null
  19. JUST MAKE A REAL EAGLE...FULL FIDELITY. I worked Eagle Ops in the late 90s at KEF...we had no permanent aircraft by then and relied on TDY Eagles and Vipers for our alert commitment to the Greenland/UK Gap. When you are on an island surrounded by big, big cold ocean, extra fuel is a need, not a want.
  20. I hope the little things like this get addressed before they finish it...
  21. @Stretch What's the requirements for the graphic...my unit patch isn't showing up Juice
  22. By chance is there a plan to fix the Multiple Flight Members "Holding Hands" COMMs for CASE I recovery? JUICE

  23. @grafspree I see what you mean on the picture...during aircraft accident investigation training, we learned about witness marks. I'm no professional investigator and only took the course as part of my degree program at Embry-Riddle, but the experts can calculate how fast the aircraft was going, what angle, and how much RPM was in the spinning prop when it struck. Some blades get one hit on the ground before the settling and the blades that end up on the bottom usually get the most flex/bent as they absorb the weight of the aircraft as it's settling into position. ED's model is good, just shows the twist as if it was a left spinning prop and not right spinning like most, if not all, western/allied propeller aircraft of WWII!
