Also, the signs on many of the Persian Gulf Runways are incorrect on some sides where you enter the runway. The first photo is correct...if the sign has 29R on the left side of the sign, then the threshold for that runway is left and 11L threshold is to the right. However, when you approach from the other side of the runway access taxiway, the signs would be reversed as now 11L is to your left and 29R is to your right as you enter the runway. Are these two separate MODs, by different authors? It would be nice to have one Deck Equipment/Deck Crew/IFOLS MOD that a team could develop together to add a crash crane, firefighting apparatus and different crew postures. We need wingtip spotters, Crouched Shooters, and proper LSOs (if the LSO platform ever got fixed). Of course all of this might be for fun if ED makes a proper Carrier with all items included in the main game files and editor. JUICE

I have the same issue and it started with the bigger of two updates this week...the Hotfix that came out a couple of days after didn't correct it. My XMIT switches worked in non-easy COMMs flawlessly before the updates. This occurred when 2.5.4.27314 Open Beta came out on 02-13-2019 and x27430 Beta Hotfix did not correct it. I missed it maybe, what flight controller do you use and I had un-commanded flight control input problems when I put my cellular phone too close to the Joystick Cables...clear the area of any unneeded electronics if applicable. Oh, and try this...start cold start, use Auto Start Sequence (Left WIN Key and HOME) and let the jet start itself. I notice that often when I manual start, I mess up the FCS and have control issues often under manual start.

T/O Trim is 12 Degrees of input so that might be what's pushing you up on a runway takeoff. Carrier T/O is hands off until airborne and normally pushes you up. T/O Flaps are normally HALF position and if you have HOTAS Trim settings, make sure you don't have a runaway TRIM situation where your aft trim (Pull Back) is stuck on the controller. BTW, normal TRIM settings in a fighter are HAT Down = Nose Up and DCS F/A-18C has this described in the controls correctly. Question: Do you have some Deadzone and Curves on your main AXIS Commands? I use 3 DZ and 20 for CURVE on Pitch and Roll, and I use 8 DZ on Rudder with 20 on CURVE...add some DZ and Curve and see if that helps. Good Luck!

This process really, really needs to come into the 21st century. Please, ED make it so we have the option when buying gift modules to select "Purchase as Gift" and we simply use the recipients DCS Account username and Email. This will make it much easier for us and mission control on your end! Cheers!

This might be off topic, but does anyone know how I can get the Nvidia Video Capture to stop saying DCS Black Shark and just Digital Combat Simulator? I already know how to change the video save location, but something is forcing it to say Black Shark when I have never own Black Shark. Link some info if you have a step by step guide...thanks!

Thanks, That worked...I tried manually typing it in before and couldn't work around that > symbol while in the cmd prompt but moving to the BIN folder for the start fixed...much appreciated!

RE: Shutter! I have the same issue even with DCS and my OS on SSDs. I have the 980, 3.4 GHZ processor, and 16 gb RAM and get the same results you are seeing. I'll link you a find on Hoggit that might be on to something! :pilotfly:
