Mission 12 Cut Scene Problem finish the campaign
Reflected replied to Jahrhead's topic in P-47D Wolfpack Campaign
Check if you have the "Wolfpack - Epilogue" mission file in your folder. If yes, then it's either the random bug that sometimes happens to some player, that is, ED's "Load mission" functionality sometimes doesn't work, or your install is corrupted somehow. Remove all unofficial mods and run a repair. -
mission 5 impossible to get a reply from tanker
Reflected replied to dave76's topic in Bugs and Problems
I'm sure it's some sort of assignment issue, because pressing the correct transmit button it always replied to me and everyone else. Do you have any unofficial mods installed? -
F-4 Phantom Campaign announcement: 'Red Flag 81-2'

The Red Flag missions are doable within an hour, especially if you use time acceleration. Which will automatically reset to 1x as soon as something happens, so you won't miss anything important. -
mission 5 impossible to get a reply from tanker
Reflected replied to dave76's topic in Bugs and Problems
Maybe you have it mapped to the VOIP command? -
Can you tell me where I can get one? I'm happy to pay as long as I'm sure it's the version I need, that is, with the procedures.
-
Thanks, but this doesn't have anything about procedures either.
-
Thanks, I've seen these, but it seems all of them are about the structure and assembly. I haven't found anything about the procedures.
-
Does anyone have an original 109K handbook in pdf? I found a couple online but they're all focusing on how to take the plane apart rather than the startup/ takeoff/ landing procedures. Thanks!

IIRC there used to be a key command for the crew to run the inertial starter. Now I can't for the life of me find it. It's only available via the radio menu. Has this been removed?
-
yeah the carrier directors are still not flawless but that's in ED's hands. A way around them would be to disable the directors in your settings, but remember you still need to use the salute command for the mission to know when to progress.

mission 5 dmpi2 target coord wrong on kneeboard
Reflected replied to dave76's topic in Bugs and Problems
You mean the target photo in mission 4? I see now thanks, I'll fix it. -
never use the radio menu to salute, only the command. The taxi director logic is beyond my control unfortunately.

mission 5 - Detling issue
Reflected replied to Droning_On's topic in Spitfire LF Mk.IX The Big Show Campaign
Good to hear that! Yes it’s from the original release before we got Detling. -
No, currently there is no way, because the unlimited fuel trigger doesn't work for the player, only the AI
-
This has happened to me too a few times. I had no idea it was caused by the brakes

I missed the Lavochkin content from the 2025 and beyond video. (I know, there was some) I’m really hoping we will see it this year.

The DCS AI is the DCS AI, unfortunately things like this inevitably happen, although rarely. Invulnerability is your best bet. Make sure you follow the procedures and instructions on screen when refueling, normally your wingman shouldn't be anywhere near you when it's your turn to plug. Was it your turn? Check out this video:

i’m 100% with you. Only if you ever made a skin can you really appreciate the effect of not having a model viewer. Making a skin is like completing a 1000 piece puzzle. Without the MV it’s like a 1000 piece puzzle with all pieces painted black. Is it possible to complete it? Sure. Am I going to do it? No way. look at this skin. Those camo lines are split by the UV map in over a hunderd places and alignment is done by trial and error, resaving the skin and refreshing the editor. Even seeing the immediate effect it’s beyond tedious. and we can’t call using the game itself the ‘old school way’ either. Old school skins were made of a single texture file that kept most parts together. Times have changed, we have 4-5 files with every panel scattered all over creation. I understand the need to protect 3d models but I definitely value my free time more than creating skins under such conditions. It’s a real pity.

One version uses speculars the other roughmets. One will always look strange. ah you mean 2 versions of each skin? Gotcha!

This needs to be sorted ASAP please. I spent 3 weeks making 5 realistic skins for my upcoming Red Flag 81-2 campaign. After the remaster I found that they don't work with the new version. Now we got the template, so I could potentially spend another month redoing them from scratch, except we can't see it in the model viewer, we can't check existing remastered skins because it's all encrypted. So it's basically impossible. Even if ED 'declassifies' the 3D model and I redo these skins from scratch, they won't work for those who didn't pay for the remaster. If I don't update, they won't work for those who upgraded. Lose-lose situation. Alternatively I could rework all my missions to use the F-5E FC version, so everybody would see the skins (it still uses the old version), but who knows if and when that will be updated model-wise. I never understood all the negativity around the F-5E upgrade, for 10 bucks it's a steal and I'm so happy that module got some attention. However, from a content creator point of view I can't imagine a worse, more destructive way of implementing it. Makes me think twice before hoping for other modules to get the 'remastered' treatment.
