Some people think its red because it was built by China. For me its ok for PVP servers if the plane goes to the red side since there are no modern, full fidelity, true red side aircraft in DCS.

Yeah, there's no ECM in game. Only for FC aircrafts and its just noice for 1 single target. ED should focus on this as other features are being complete, but for now I think they are busy with a lot of things at the same time.

Its guided by the AWG-9 until impact. In TWS the WCS gives the order to go active, it doesn't do it by itself.

I guess the right engine bug isn't fixed? I had it recently in a mp server after beeing shot down, leaving the server and rejoining didn't fix it. Left engine started normaly.

But I'm online. It keeps giving me the same error. I can even play online and the only aircraft that doesn't work is the F-16. I've bought it through steam and made the ED Steam accounts link. It worked fine until a few days ago. EDIT: Ok, I had to transfer the license again, and now its working fine again. Strange.

Great! The lights in DCS are almost non existent and useless.

It would be a really good feature if DCS could have an improved ECM functionality. Even if its not so close to how it works in real life it would improve the gameplay a lot. DCS its supposed to be a simulator after all and to not have ECM is very unrealistic.

I know, I didn't understand what MobiSev was referring to. It would be nice if ED implement an improved ECM in DCS. Its been a long time since I don't fly FC3 but I remember it was "working" with its very basic functionality maybe 2 years ago, its still a thing or they completely removed it?

I didn't see the jamming working. What are you talking about? It only was blinking when it turned on but the ECM needs to be modeled in each plane. You are talking about the RWR? That wasnt jamming, that was the pod understanding from where the enemy radars come from.

Multiplayer is BRUTAL in the air quake servers. You need to try to force the enemy to fight by your rules. If your beeing shot a lot in the mountains by IR missiles, then don't go there, or don't be predictable. Also try to use AWACS to build your situational awarness.

There's nothing wrong in those videos. As the previous poster said, if you shoot a cold enemy you need to be way closer to it. The F-14 Aim 7 its a <10nm on hot aspect.

Obviously depends on a lot of factors, but right now is good below 8nm hot aspect. It also should be a good close range missile but I think it has some problems and doesn't look to turn very well. I think its underperforming and having the aim-54 in stt as a fox 1 its useless (almost)

There are 2 pods. AN/AAQ-13 (navigation) and AN/AAQ-14 (targeting). The navigation pod was for the F-15E and F-16.
