  1. I'm testing the maverick in force correlate and when I try to fire it to a building it flies over and hit the ground after it, like targeting the ground where the TGP is pointing. Shouldn't this mode fly to the "object" or image where its pointed? From the manual page 291 says: "...instead using an image-correlation algorithm suitable for tracking elements within a picture" I also tested it with stationary ships and it was the same. agm65FC.trk
  2. The DCS manual in the page 64 says "Only the elevation is editable; all other fields are read-only." Its really a shame because its nearly useless.
  3. I think the F-15C is lighter and the extra thrust may be not be enough at that speed and drag. Its 34kN extra, not 44kN. But I don't know, it may not be correctly modeled in DCS.
  4. P 1 > chaff = { burstQty = 1, burstIntv = 0.02, salvoQty = 4, salvoIntv = 0.75, }, P 2 > flare = { burstQty = 1, burstIntv = 0.02, salvoQty = 4, salvoIntv = 0.5, }, P 3 > chaff = { burstQty = 1, burstIntv = 0.1, salvoQty = 5, salvoIntv = 0.75, }, flare = { burstQty = 1, burstIntv = 0.1, salvoQty = 5, salvoIntv = 0.75, }, P 4 > flare = { burstQty = 1, burstIntv = 0.1, salvoQty = 10, salvoIntv = 1.0, }, }
  5. It's planned for 2022.
  6. Does the spi update after using the laser? I thought it didn't update.
  7. There're a lot o player who overuse the paddle switch, in combat almost every single turn above 8G. And without any aircraft penalty. They transform the F-18 in a F-16.
  8. Maybe because of how radars work in DCS. They were invisible to even a SA-15.
  9. I also noticed this since a long time ago. The steering cue is in the center, shoot an AIM-120 and the missile maneuvers even without the target changing any flight parameters.
  10. Yes it takes it from the ME, I always put the target waypoint at 0ft so it always matches ground level.
  11. You had an incorrect altitude in the steerpoint.
  12. Don't worry about boresight parallax. I always boresight a few meteres in front of the plane when on the ramp usually with the taxi lights or a vehicle. It works , I use mavericks regularly and never have any issue aligning both the TGP and maverick to the target. If it wasn't the case, at 10nm the maverick would look way outside the target.
  13. The maverick is not difficult, I recommend you to not use AUTO in TGP, just manual bacause AUTO is very slow and unpredictable. If the maverick didn't lock on you're waisting more time to reacquarie and its very dangerous. For me the types of weapons are the disappointing thing in the F-16, it has much less options compared to F-18 or JF-17.
  14. I think people are looking into it too much and is imagining things.
  15. The AG radar in DCS its useful because GMT its broken at a point its a cheat. Every single contact its a moving military unit.
  16. Yes, at least in DCS if you TMS down after boresight the maverick will look off but it will work, it happened to me several times. Don't forget to boresight both pylons.
  17. I'm not implying anything, just a representation. Everything from the aircraft to the pylons and weapons could be 100% accurate.
  18. I tried after writing the post but its impossible since the camera is fixed and you can only change the view angle so its not optimal, besides its a 3D representation of the real plane.
  19. The screenshots are taken from above of the maverick, not even at wing level.
  20. I asked the same thing on the teaser youtube video, GlowingAmraam (the video maker) told me it can be toggled on/off. It may be realistic but on a screen you can't focus with one eye and you see it all the time, and I think it will be annoying. I will try it for sure but I think an option to hide it is nice.
  21. You can. DCS World\Mods\aircraft\F-16C\Cockpit\Scripts\EWS\CMDS\device\CMDS_ALE47.lua program 5 is panic. Keep in mind every time DCS updates you need to change it again
  22. If you have enough buttons you can bind one for 1 or 2 specific programs.
  23. This option is the best choice.
  24. The F16 flies like a rock on base and final, its not like the F18 which is super easy. When I know I'm not going to do the base very well, I do the downwind a little bit further (1.5nm) and/or extend the downwind a little. Also I check the wind direction so I don't drift to the airport while I fly the downwind.
  25. It seems you're landing with slow speed? I accelerate before touch down to reduce vertical speed and maintain AoA, then throttle to idle for touch down at optimal AoA. I don't have that issue, but if I still have the fuel tanks the nose goes down at around 130 knots or more.
