From what I understand, is taxing with the hawk your problem? For taxing the hawk does not use rudder, but toe brakes Use Lshift / Lctrl + W

I love cold war era aircrafts. Where you do have technology but human factor is still more important. About modern aircrafts, I like the challenge it takes you to learn them. Switches, knobs and lights make me go crazy

I thought I understood the wing tips tanks system but apparently I am missing something. I set my fuel at 100% at the start (no external tanks). I set the wingtip tanks switch to off. In that way I thought fuel will be burnt only from the main (fusolage) tank. And when I set the switch on, then it drains from the wingtips. However in a couple of situtations when the fuel gauge was about 50%, when I switch the wing tips tanks, the light green goes up. Indicating they are empty. Wasn't it supposed to be not consumed from the wing tips?

Hi there I have found a very minor issue. It might be worth to report it anyways. With the RSBN background panel light on, if you try to adjust its light with the dedicated knob, light just switches off. And I couldn't turn it on again. However RSBN system works as intended EDIT: L-39CA on Caucasus map, no idea about L-39 ZA

My vote goes for Mig21. Surprisingly, I enjoy it most for the A-G role although it is limited The best thing you can do is watch some youtube videos for each aircraft. That will give you an idea for what it fits better to you. But we all know you are goin to buy em all in the long run

Thank you for your suggestion, but I just hate racing sims :D On Amazon it appears racing pedals are more or less on the same price, so no real advantage in that choice, the best option at this point is to start some savings for rudder pedals

I read everywhere that rudder pedals are mandatory for helis and I accept that. I will buy them in a second moment, but meanwhile I'd like to buy the Mi-8 if I find it again discounted. Which is always tempting me. However, I am asking to Hotas Warthog owners, do you (or did) fly helicopters without rudder pedals? I mean, is there any chance that it is somewhat "acceptable" to use the slider or second throttle as rudder?

I just use it on buddyspike and open conflict server. Sometimes it is strangely rewarding to fly for so long using only NDB stations, and drop just a set of well aimed bombs
