Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 9
Bersagliere81 replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
I approve the idea of havi g the future F14 on Red side. Not only it will balance the a-a, but actually Iran has it. Therefore it fits perfectly -
It's something I need as I am still learning it. Thanks!

Congratulations for the release! Every module is welcome, but let me say I feel trolololled like my ex girlfriends were able to do

The week is over. We claim the promised announcement!

I am here to join the guesstimation train. Looking at the hints, weather forecast, daily horoscope and why Italy joined WWII with obsolete equipment, I say it's the Christen Eagle fitted with pesticides sprayers and commercial banners.

i think he made his decision 10 months ago :D

On my 7th attempt I finally made it. It seems QFE is key for this mission. I set QFE as ATC says, and I must say I have never heard FE complaining for my altitude. He always did in my other attempts. Thanks for the support, frustration comes when you have no idea what's wrong, but this level of realism is what we really want

3rd unanounced helicopter speculation

Ka27. Now! :D -
There is definitely something wrong. I patiently gave it a try (6th attempt) and FE made it fail again. This time I managed to follow flight plan and everything. Task was heading 300 angels 7 at 260 knots. I just started turning and he didn't like the altitude. As you can see in the screenshot, everything is just fine (screenshot is taken few seconds aftwerwards. It was 6980 feets when he complained). The exact position is after 1st landing (touch and go), just at the beginning of downwind leg. Unfortunately I am forced to edit the mission as suggested, I am done with 6 fails in a row . At this time I could happily be even on AATQ campaign. Screenshot attached as proof EDIT - please Sabre-TLA can you provide me a mail where I can send you the .lua file? I am having no success editing it and I can't see what I am doing wrong

Thank you I'll give it a try later. The message is somehow "terminate, terminate" and something. I can't remember the words but they are related to the fact my heading was off course on the downwind leg. As I said my heading was correct, it was the crosswind making me drift far above the sea without nothing happening. I can only suppose this because looking at the flight plan on TAD, My position is sensibly off the line. But my course is always 300 as required. The terminate message appears when I head back to the vector provided by Batumi. Just for reference, I can't remember values, but using tacan once I was 30nm from batumi, and inbound vector was 170 from me. Failures are nothing related to the ILS landing itself. One of the times it made me fail was also speed. I was going 280 instead of 260 ("only" 20 of difference). No warnings were given If I feel brave enough, I'll make a video

I am at mission 08, the one about ILS landing. It is my 5th attempt and "smart" instructor keeps saying to terminate. And I am not new with ILS landings. Most of the fails are due (I guess) to the crosswind making me drift from the trigger zone. I can only guess because following heading 300 I find myself lost on the sea and the supreme instructor doesn't like a change of course. Is there a way to force the system to make it complete? Really after 2hrs I can't take it anymore and I am scared to hear that terminate again

I used to live in a world where its price was the question...

Issue with Rudder Pedals
Bersagliere81 replied to Bersagliere81's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
It really seems to be that problem. I am fairly "scared" to open it, I might think about contacting the seller for a change. I will think about it. Thank you for the hint Also if you know a video abut the T Rudder pedals specifically please link it, I'd like to have something showing me step to step -
Issue with Rudder Pedals
Bersagliere81 replied to Bersagliere81's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thank you for the answer, we better speak english in case someone else has the same issue. Yes I already did everything you suggested, and everything is as it is supposed to be. Only the calibration tool looks weird, toe brakes slightly flicker (like having a small intermittend and fast force applied), while the central value has some heavy flickering. But once I move them they tend to stabilize. Also, on this panel, moving full left does not reach the full value. The trustmaster control panel looks stable however -
Issue with Rudder Pedals
Bersagliere81 replied to Bersagliere81's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Apparently switching USB port solves the issue, but I get a heavier pedal flickering. I will give it a deeper look next days, but if someone has a solution please let me know thanks -
Hi there I noticed this issue witth my Thrustmaster T flight pedals. As you can see if I move full right, it moves as expected, however moving full left, it does not go full end. Gameplay speaking, using that window with alt+enter, it stops barely at its middle strenght. What can it be? How can I solve such issue?

Other than that, literally speaking of "setting the course 270 on the HSI for WP-4" could mean: watch your HSI (that compass with many fancy needles) and turn until you point 270 always on HSI you can rotate the knob next to it until a needle points to 270. It is not necessary, it only helps you to remind your direction, although it has its reason for more advanced navigations

I strongly doubt they will release something with sales in effect. Buy who knows

Just adding that -afaik- the only DCS module capable of following a flight plan with autopilot is the Ka50
