  2. identified doorgun sound effects are related to payload release for the huey... hp_11_0_L hp_11_0_R hp_11_0_M sharing STL files for audio isolater https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5929079 without this, the doorgun controller will shake anytime someone on the huey fires their weapons. the purpose of this isolator box is relay activated when the trigger is pulled and allow audio to pass to an amplifier attached to the shaker
  3. thanks @=Andre= after editing some sound files.. i didnt realize there more possibilities to the bass shaker effects how much more immersive to go to 2 shakers from 1? i currently run a buttkicker LFE... would two mini buttkickers LFE's provide a better experience?
  4. hey guys i am about to dive into making custom multichannel sound files for simshaker. can someone share how the base sound file are organized? i see some wav files ending in L, R, 2L, 2R, x, y, z.. let say plane stall.. what files make up the plane stall effect?
  5. documenting notes here. purpose: to make shake effects for my DIY doorgun controller, with simshaker software sending effects to motherboard audio with 2 amplifiers connected. simshaker sound module set to 6.1 sound main amp to L/R channel and secondary amp to side channels. i was successful to make a feedback test in which main amp reacts to Channel 1 and 3, and the secondary amp reacts to channel 4 and 6. for the fun part, how to get the secondary installed simshaker and sound module (sound module is not free) https://andres-shop.simshaker.com/13-software installed audacity https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/ open file with audacity - Export Multichannel Audio in Audacity Edit Preferences - Import / Export - select use advanced mixing options - click ok to confirm

  7. Was in hoggit. Me in apache. Buddy jumps in and I perform startup. Blades are rotating but he sees the helicopter as not started. He jumps out and request in. And I allow. Now he sees aircraft blades spin and we take off. Buddy sets TEDAC to TADS and it is slewing around as if performing a scan pattern. He hops out and I see from the TSD page that the scan is going, slewing left to right slightly up and down... Is there some function going here? We tried to start in another slot, and same situation

As of OB 2.8.5.40170 adjusting the MPD Brightness control will change the brightness of the in game virtual cockpit MPD, how ever it DOES NOT do anything on a multimonitor export such as the output "LEFT_MFCD" the video control works ok. please fix brightness control for multimonitor export thanks. having actual MPD is pretty cool...
  10. no create the folder C:\Users\user\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\MonitorSetup and place your custom lua file there. having it in program folder will not pass IC
  11. any chance for Mi24P hind doorgun axis binds for joysticks? you try to help me, but was unsuccessful during that time.. maybe some recent updates will allow the functionality...
  12. anyone interested in building on, i am sharing info here. it has cool factor of 10+ only hope that other modules will have joystick binds for axis commands and vr support. WORKING GREAT WITH DCS UH1H HUEY! stl files in youtube description

  15. played the instant mission, target practice. i had George WAS to hellfire. then had George search targets and found a few i select the target from the menu, and a moment later he says lasing.. so when i press fire consent, he says unable. then he says laser OFF is when i again i press consent, and George fires the missile. but it ends up missing target..
  16. im happy to report that this issue has been resolved in OB version 2.8.5.40170 nice to see the Rotating minigun barrels in VR again in MT! thank you ED Team!
  17. of course! just sharing my view as a user.. any updates appreciated! the possibitlity that i can use the doorgun controller and have it function is probably the most i can hope for, considering the controller only works for UH1H for now. also apprieciating you reading our comments to improve the Gaz! agree, important things come first!

PLEASE PLEASE May the Chinook have aerial gunner platform features MATCH THE doorgun control options as they are with the UH1H especially doorgun UP/DOWN , LEFT/RIGHT axis commands binds to a joystick. Functional in VR, with player view independent from where the doorgun is aiming. (Player view decoupled from the weapon line of sight) Just like the Huey a player in VR can peek out of the window and see the CH47 fuselage Nice to have some beefy weapons M134 mingun, GAU 19 .50 cal, even Mk19 automatic grenade launcher from ramp door.. Summary: 1 VR support with player view decoupled from weapon (like uh1h & mi24) 2 Mappable joystick & mouse axis and button binds especially slew LEFT right, up down (like uh1h.. hopefully mi24 in future) 3 multicrew multi seat support (like uh1h & mi24) That is a big wish for this helo legend

  20. amazing. last time i tried gaz doorgunner position, looking at the fuselage peeking out, the sa342 model was missing poly's textures, only complete rendering of the virtual cockpit from inside the gunner position but broken rendering when trying to look at the helo outside.. in this video i am stepping away from Huey, and i can see all parts of huey, tail rotor, mast, fuselage.. i hope that will be part of the goodies for the SA342 minigun variant (or all variants) when updates are realized, im ready to make a video!!
