  1. Read specs for any brand u buy. Understand speaker impedance..
  2. you have to make sure that for what ever number of shakers you get, it has to have a total resistance that the amp can handle. most amps rated from 1 ohm to 8 ohm depend on brand. read specs before u buy https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-SA100-100W-Subwoofer-Amplifier-300-802?quantity=1
  3. if you get this, u will have to put 2 sets in series, and then make them parallel so that total resistance is 4 ohms. the dayton 80 watt amp is ok.. SA80 perhaps
  4. i think the cost is worth 1100 - 2000 british pounds for the time spent to develop, replicated and make a functioning tedac. thats alot of wires and buttons to connect, let alone to make mold thats a replica to real one. spend the money and forget, or spend months making one yourself.
  5. pay to have it made, or spend time to do it yourself. https://komodosimulations.co.uk/products/ah-64d-apache-tedac?variant=43006958305431 at the end of the day it is just buttons and switches! DIY FTW
  6. i can blow up the other huey, and damage appears on the support object. but the humvee seems invisible to 7.62 rounds.. note this is just instant mission humvee no damage.trk
  7. This is what makes DCS great is that it is flexible in control setup compared to other sims
  8. Your plans are fine, and what ever I shared on thingiverse is not going anywhere. Hats off to u guys that made a tedac whether from my files or you made your own, the tedac is not an easy thing to build. What I will say is it is nice to have control on dcs ah64d cp/g and we will be ready for the F15e wso when Razbam drops the mudhen
  9. late post, but the aiming station was made possible, with the inclusion of being able to map the axis assignments of slew up/down left/right to joysticks. please do the same for the mi24 doorguns! THANK YOU EAGLE DYNAMICS
  10. Also joystick axis assignments for mi24P Gunner with trackir/VR needed It nice to know there are to do items for the hind, start to wonder if it was out of early access. I think i recall the Ed team last did major work for the Ai menu and behavior for mi24/ah64
  11. about to start learning about case I landings.. any updates to this highly recommend mission file / dlc?
  12. @Quaggles i see some containers or pointers in the command_defs.lua Gunner_SIGHT_UP_DOWN_AXIS Gunner_SIGHT_LEFT_RIGHT_AXIS but cant make heads or tails for the data.lua. btw, in the default.lua of C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\Mi-24P\Input\Mi-24P_Gunner\joystick i noticed that it didnt have the syntax declared local cockpit = folder.."../../../Cockpit/Scripts/" dofile(cockpit.."devices.lua") dofile(cockpit.."command_defs.lua") in which the Mods\aircraft\Mi-24P\Input\Mi-24P_Gunner\mouse\default.lua had... not sure if these calls go to some function that allows something...lol
  13. Owe wow. Thanks for taking a look. I had tried antimicroX joystick mapping app, and also I tried to copy what was from the mouse.lua and apply it to joystick.lua, I was able to map a joystick, but the input behavior was un-usable, aside from being center, either the Kord gun swings maximum left or right , up down.. there was no controllable joystick response in between. The mouse works in relative, instead of absolute coordinates..in some manner like that.. I'll take a look at data.lua, though this whole quaggles injector thing is new to me.. Many thanks!
  14. can you point me in direction on how to make an custom joystick axis? trying to understand this mod, and apply it to the Mi24 Kord door gunner.. appreciate any suggestions!
  15. already on a doorgun version 2. it is waiting for Gazelle support!
  16. showing how i get some.. made a shout to you @Dogmanbird!
  17. Any cobra that can fight tanks..yes
  18. im still impressed by your build! show it in action, mister!
  19. As mentioned ur suggested diagram i can not impement because there are wires going through the center. If i made a simpler grip, maybe it is possible. Going thru my center is the wiring for 12 buttons on the spade grip, and wiring for the top hall effect sensor. I wanted to route speaker cable through it, but i had to abandon that idea. Make a video of your doorgun in action.. @Dogmanbird we need a diy doorgun joystick group! More dcs world controlled turrets and doorguns!
  20. Wow. Like wow. I thought I was the only one crazy to build a doorgun. My doorguns can traverse a range of 270 degrees. But for DCS world, the huey uh1h door guns have a much less traverse range of somewhere 100 degrees. You don't need alot of traverse / slew in dcs uh1h. Ill make a video on how to tune a doorgun to function good enough for a great VR experience. You have made my morning @Dogmanbird By the way how does your doorgun build respond in windows game controller properties? Like any other joystick, it has to be functional in windows before you can even begin to deal with a game Also note on the hall effect. The sensor I used worked perfectly (A1432, digikey part number 620-1432-ND). The kicker is I was only able to use it for the top gimbal. I had to use conventional pot for the bottom gimbal since the wires went through the center of the gimbal axis
  21. i just completed most of the build with only making the base plate and mounting a buttkicker left. happy to say that the doorgun is electrically functional will be sharing the remainder of the stl files for this doorgun project. i need a break after this build..
  22. try to map the following controls and manipulate VR Re-center Move Camera View Right Move Camera View Left Move Camera View Up, Move Camera View Down Move Camera View Forward Move Camera View Back
  23. before the barrels would turn, now they do not.. it looks wierd. please fix soon!
