After four weeks of being stuck at home, uncertainty around employment and the future in general, I was starting to feel pretty down. But today I tried out the Christen Eagle and haven't stopped smiling since. :D What a great plane and a nice bit of relaxing fun, whether it's flying inverted through tunnels or doing hammerheads over the top of the Burj Khalifa, the CE2 is exactly what I need in my life right now and will certainly be the next module I buy once I have a reliable income again! Hey Alpenwolf, would you consider adding some NDB's to the Persian Gulf missions? Nav aids compatible with Red aircraft are few and far between and visual navigation is tricky when all you can see is sand. Cheers.

I tried it with kom, opf2, and tsm all had the same result. Interestingly when firing the rockets off as singles only a single rocket was still showing in each pod after firing all 20.

Got the same thing. Note it doesn't seem to happen when the aircraft is spawned loaded. Only when re-arming with the ground crew. I set it up to fire 16 rockets in each pod. Held down trigger, fired the full salvo. Pulled trigger again fired the remaining rockets (4 each) Model still showing 4 rockets in each pod. Sound is busted in the video :/ but it shows the problem Mi8 rocket bug.trk

That's a DCS bug. A rather annoying one.

Aircraft instruments are a super weird mix of voltages and AC DC. Different companies make them with little thought of uniformity. It's not like in say automobiles where the industry has agreed that it's 12 or 24V DC. It's a long watch but this video touches on this several times in the 747 cockpit

Check your audio inputs and outputs and make sure you haven't got mic playback checked in SRS, Windows sound manager, your audio driver UI. Maybe check them for a mic boost as well.

Tactical Commander slots gone from Phone Booth? JTAC/Operator cannot move vehicles on the map. I deployed a few vehicles and soldiers to take Beslan but without being able to set a route for them they were stuck by the treeline

It will drop RPMs all the way down to nothing. I can't see anything about this in the manual, I've always assumed it was a poorly implemented emulation of gas ingestion.

Transmit on the same frequency of the searching radar. Of course if you can adjust frequency between a flight to avoid interference it's fair to assume that they would be able to adjust the frequency on the F-15s to solve the issue.

It's an LCD panel, even an amateur can solder in a second video source and a mechanism to switch between the two. As complicated as it gets is if you have to change between analogue and different digital formats. Hardly insurmountable, simple plug-in-line devices which do this have been available in consumer tech stores for years.

You can add the F10 map target markers with the mission editor so that all you have to do is RALT+RSHIFT+8 to download them once you are running the mission.

Capitalising on a pandemic leaves a bad taste on the mouth no matter which way you spin it. If ED want to do something to help out with all the people stuck at home I say throw out a few more free test drives and host a bunch of MP events. For example they could do a Red Flag event and a free NTTR weekend, Free Hornet and Su-33 and an event when they release Marianas etc

You can pick up one of these or these For much less than the price of a DualShock 4 and they are infinitely better. Or even this for only a little more.
