  1. Allegedly
  2. If they want to continue selling it as a product they need to not only fix the many bugs but bring it up to the current standards both in aesthetics and functionality. If it is going to be a seperate paid upgrade it needs to come down from the store as is or current owners should get USD$49.99 off of the price of the new module.
  3. Helicopters seemingly not being an issue I think the man to send this request to is Yury Slyusar.
  4. Su-17M4 > Su-22 After Wags statement I still believe it is possible for ED to develop legacy Soviet aircraft that are no longer in any form of production use or support from UAC. Su-17 and MiG-27 are not even kept in reserve. It's all on the table for third parties, I'd love a Su-30M, prefer without canards but I'll take it either way. Even a PVO version with zero A2G capability.
  5. It was reported by Russian media that the RuAF were carrying R-74 in Syria. I believe after the shoot down of the Su-24M by Turkey it was announced that all Su-34 and Su-30SM performing strike missions would also carry A2A missiles, R-74 named in particular. Meanwhile it's reported that there is a clean sheet design in development to completely replace the Archer family on Su-35, Su-57, MiG-35 and future aircraft. Not to mention further R-74 development for the shorter term with LOAL and INS initial guidance to allow over the shoulder launches/attack targets designated by other aircraft. Thereby matching the capabilities of the latest AIM-9/MICA-IR/IRIS-T variants.
  6. The first post of this thread should be subject to quarterly structured updates
  7. Same issue here. Guess its popularity has broken Google's server :P
  8. Or if ED had another large studio outside of Russia... I guess it's to avoid any conflict of interest/corruption accusation for anyone with any links directly or otherwise with UAC. Apparently not the case with Russian Helicopters
  9. May I dare to say that RAZBAM's development speed, though perhaps the Harrier was released prematurely, has been comparatively breakneck speed compared to any other developer but Belsimtek (although goodnight sweet prince to that one). I've lost count of how many years the F-18 and F-14 have been in the making, both by developers with unfinished/in desperate need of repair modules.
  10. Indeed. Two full price individual modules that should also come in a bundle package. At least from time to time.
  11. Best central Asian fighter might be a better title. That way it immediately excludes China, Japan and Russia.

  14. It is planned as per one of the recent newsletters. Yes recently it was 51 online 4 on SRS. 4!!!! None of which would respond to my calls so on the other team presumably.
  15. Depends on the model. Whilst Su-24M2 would be highly unlikely, Su-24M may be possible and surely the original Su-24. Likewise original Su-27S, Su-27UB or Su-27PU(Su-30 PVO) and maybe even the Su-27SM should be possible. Su-27SM2 and beyond I highly doubt. Depends how much will power ED has if developing Russian planes is a PITA.
  16. Are you still planning a new scratch built 3D model?
  17. No, it is a fair request. All other aircraft can have their armaments modified either by C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\*module name*\*module name.lua* or C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Scripts\Database\planes\*module name.lua* MiG-21 is the exception.
  18. I keep forgetting to test the MiG-21 damage model, whenever I feel the thump of a missile hit and see my wing is more fire than actual wing I just eject... Is it really that much harder to kill than a Viggen? Those things catch fire and lose their canards, catch fire, and still keep fighting until they're out of ordinance then they succesfully return to base at least 1\3 times.
  19. With such a major client as the AdA to consider, I'm sure the M-2000C is very much a priority for RAZBAM, waiting for more data is sensible. Do it once (well twice), do it right. From my understanding there are two other coders but as RAZBAM's head coder Zeus oversees and is involved in all projects. I think their team page is quite out of date at this point.
  20. Scroll down the page to...
  21. For example the main products from CL-20 fuel (C6H6N6(NO2)6) will be carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and water. Any of that water that cannot be absorbed by the air will remain as water vapour. If the air is below 0 it will freeze and you get a contrail.
  22. Hot air can hold (absorb) more water than cold air. When Hot air is cooled below the temperature it can continue to hold that water it is forced to condense out. In non-air breathing motors the water exhaust can be a product of the fuel oxidization.
  23. Even better would be if it could be removed/fitted by the ground crew. Same goes for the gun camera and IFR hood.
  24. Hopefully it will get addressed in the cockpit overhaul. Put this in your kneeboard until then
  25. Tunguska? If so then yeah seldom worth controlling. Try the Osa or Strela
