The kc135 boom drogue adapter is a complete pain in the arse IRL and no disrespect but if it was truly modeled in DCS we would have very little success as close formation is a bit harder than real life. KC130 is interesting but the thing is dam slow when you are in a fighter we had to use mid flap to refuel of it. Albeit a slightly different version the RAF only has a center basket. Just a note at the moment VR is worse than real life. Not by a lot but you should not lose the guy you are fighting in a 2 circle fight IRL but I certainly do, I am tracking him and then he gets to the limit if visual range for the rift. This was in a Mig 21 with an F5 , normally I always make sure its a single circle fight but that doesnt work in the 21. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I have the soft cam in and it works well for Helo flying with the medium springs. There is no real notch in the center. Afraid I havent tried the no center cam but have done a lot of sling loading and not had a problem. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Sorry slightly offf topic now but in answer to the last. PAR with a HUD is actually pretty easy we used to get asked to do them on the head down instruments for controller training because most of their calls were on the glidepath on the centerline when we used the HUD. German Tornado didnt have an ILS the main problem IRL is it limits your diversion options. Back in my day all military fields had PAR probably something to do with all NAV aids being off in wartime kinda funny that they are on in DCS it feels like cheating when I dial up an enemy airfield tacan to go attack it [emoji16][emoji16] Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

They normally use a PAR ( Precision Approach Radar) Hence my earlier comment as while the RAF and most use 200ft DH the USAF actually have 100ft DH PAR available if you are suitably qualified. The RN carriers used to have PAR on them when they had them. CAT 3 B approaches require an Autoland as many are no DH as do 3A approaches in the company I fly for, you only need to see a light to continue to land, in the case of a go around the aircraft will probably touchdown, it certainly will in a B777. I have never heard of a 3C but B777 is getting a little old now. I am flying with a retired F18 pilot next week so I will ask him [emoji16] as long as our rosters dont change. On a Cat 3B with zero dh you dont need to see a thing often the problem is the subsequent taxy. US military will so PAR's down to 100ft but not really applicable to DCS but then again I have yet to be on a multiplayer server that required an IFR approach. probably for good reason VFR is a lot more fun [emoji16]. On a technical note I have given up trying to set my Gunfighter Pro up for Helo flying as with the Warthog stick top I cant find a working combination of Springs and Friction, the Stick top appears to be too heavy. Ok if we are gonna have a replica with labels lets keep them in the original Cyrillic as per the original. Dont really care what they say as we are all gonna bind controls for 15 ish different aircraft to the one stick top. Ps looks great by the way so labels or no labels dont delay it. I realise its asking a lot but will we have a set of operating procedures that Jester works to so that we know when he will plan on locking a target and maybe even which target he is going to lock too. In that way we will know by when we will need to select a delayed lock and also what the standard sort plan is so I know when I need to tell him which target to sort to.
