She's pretty good at staying outside range of AA vehicles and taking them out. Staying low tot he ground and sneaking up on them and BAM....AA gone.

Some heli's are just sensitive. We've had several real life Gazelle pilots test her out and they helped us fine tune the FM to what it is now. What we strive to achieve is realism. So we will continue to work with real Gazelle pilots to tweak the FM to be as realistic as possible. Keep in mind though, the Gazelle is one agile bird. Will double check this, but the SAS should be on on Hot start. Without it your pretty much controlling everything, and that can be a bit much.

So the gazelle has a dual trim system. Here's the info from the manual: The magnetic brake maintains the cyclic in a defined position. Pressing the magnetic brake button at the pilot stick will define a new position to hold. The trim actuator will allow fine trimming, it can be set with the pilot cyclic china hat. Its main purpose is to allow the pilot to finely set the aircraft attitude, bring small modifications to the speed etc ... It may be used complementary with the magnetic brake system. So Magnetic brake is sort of like the Huey/Mi-8 trim system. The trim part is more like an A-10C trim.

We plan on implementing FFB in the future. It's on our list of things to work on. The issue we ran into is that none of us actually have a FF joystick. So were working on getting one for testing.

Campaign was designed for Cacauss since we want everyone to be able to enjoy it without having to own Nevada. So it'll be avaialable when 1.5.3 gets updated. But you can look at the campaign information in your /doc folder of the module.

Ground effect is modeled. Depending on how high you come in from, you might experience a quick drop in your VVI. Always keep an eye on that gauge when your coming in for a landing.

Glad you like her. Hovering takes a bit of time to get the hang of. I use the auto hover quite a bit if I'm waiting for the slow pokes to start up their gazelles.

yeah make sure your Master Arm is on and that the cover on the firing button is up.

Right shift-P gets rid of the pilot that your sitting in (if you have that turned on). We'll look into removing the commander in a future update for those who wish.

It was changed during one of the last updates. I would map it to controls to make it easier.

So for auto-hover you just need to press the auto hover key, nothing else. The easiest way for me is to set the NADIV to tell me the speed and then slow down and meet the other parameters. Also having the control indicator helps so you can see it's on.

So landings for me in helicopters are always tricky. I make sure to keep an eye on the Vertical Velocity Indicator and keep it where I want it. When you get close to the ground (just like in the Huey) you'll find you need to pull more collective and apple right rudder. Its all a matter of practice.

Good question. We are currently in the process of procuring a Force Feedback Joystick for future testing and updates.
