  1. The AN/ARC 164 can perform ADF Homing in the AM band 'naturally' due to its design and capabilities. Additionally, thanks to its integration with other navigation and direction systems on board the A-10C, such as TACAN and other advanced avionics equipment, it can also perform ADF Homing in the FM band. This flexibility allows the A-10C to use multiple frequencies and systems to enhance its navigation and direction capabilities. ED confirm in their A-10C manual that ADF homing on AN/ARC 168 FM is "not functional". In real life, AN/ARC 168 FM radio may have CM-482 or CM-492 modules installed to offer ADF homing fuction. "The CM-482 and CM-492 components mentioned in the AN/ARC-186 radio manual are control modules used to enable the ADF (Automatic Direction Finder) homing function. These modules allow the AN/ARC-186 radio to perform the homing function, which is essential for navigation and orienting the aircraft towards a specific radio signal". These modules are necessary only if the homing capability is required in the aircraft equipped with the AN/ARC-186 radio". So it would be very interesting to know if USA army did decide install that modules on their A-10C AN/ARC-186 radios.
  2. I had that question and I got the data: "During active operations on the flight deck of a U.S. nuclear aircraft carrier, there are generally between 12 and 15 "Plane Directors" (also known as "yellowshirts") on the deck. These officers are responsible for directing and moving all aircraft on the flight deck and in the hangar.". Font: Copilot. Will we see that numbers on the deck with the new "Plane director" update, taking into account that they will guide us throughout the deck?

  3. Thanks you Yurgon and shagrat. I have understood all you have written above.
  4. If you would like to recover your font code and you have the PDB file only, here are the steps you should follow to obtain the original source code: Install Visual Studio: If you don't already have it, download and install Visual Studio. It's a very useful tool for working with PDB files and .NET assemblies. Open the PDB file: Once installed, open Visual Studio and load the PDB file along with the corresponding assembly (.dll or .exe). Visual Studio will try to map the original source code using the debugging information from the PDB file. Use decompilation tools: If Visual Studio can't help you completely, you can use decompilation tools like ILSpy or dotPeek. These tools can decompile .NET assemblies and show you the source code. Install Radare2: If you need a more advanced tool, you can install Radare2. Follow the instructions on their website to download and install the tool. Radare2 is very powerful and can help you reverse-engineer almost any binary file. I hope this help you. Thanks you for your app.
  5. Hi Yurgon, I have managed to replicate it again. This happens when I create a new profile for MK82 bombs in CCRP mode. I don't understand why it configures it in CR 5MIL mode without me touching the CR option in the IFFCC menu. I am sorry, I don't know how create a track. But I only did a new profile for MK82 in CCRP mode. Thanks you.
  6. Hi GTFreeFlyer I did try to overwrite a WP by using Offset, but I couldn't. However, by other hand, you can overwrite a WP using Markpoints. Greetings.
  7. Hi, I have noticed that when I choose or create a MK82 profile (CCRP), by default a CR 5MIL is set by default, and it visible in the HUD. In the profile I can't find a way to remove this CR. I have checked the in the IFFCC TEST menu, the "CCIP Consent OPT" option is set OFF. I don't understand this. How can I remove the CR 5 MIL? Thanks.

    Will it have OBOGS?

Hi, It would be interesting if ED created an option so that the user could choose between LOX and the OBBOGS systems. I think ED would only have to create a few new textures of the Oxygen panel (removing the oxygen amount indicator) and program in the simulator so that the oxygen does not run out. And if they try a little harder, they could simulate oxygen failure due to destruction of the OBBOGS system in combat. I think It may not be complicated in time and resources to do so. The user could choose the option from the special configuration menu of the A-10C module, just as he can choose cabin texture, etc. The users would may feel they have more modern aircraft for little "work programing". :) What do you think about that?
  9. I find it incredible that no one has answered this. :O I join to the same question. :)
  10. BIGNEWY I have had this issue when I was flying a Training mission from DCS World "Training" menu. No MP here. Greetings.
  11. Thanks you Tom Kazansky, it works fine. Thanks you BuzzU, it´s a good idea.
  12. Hi I have the same problem. I think recently ED made a texbox to show the latest messages shown in tutorial, but I dont remember what key or option it is. Please, can you help me?
  13. Hello, I would like reporting a tail rotor bug when I crashed. I had broken my tail, but the tail rotor was rotating in the air alone, in the same position if had a tail there. The tail totor was linket to the "body" movement: If body turn, tail rotor was turning too (in the air). Greetings.
  14. Hello, I write to you the link from helisimmer where a real AH-64D pilot made a review from ED DCS: AH-64D. I think it is very interesting for users and ED developers. Enjoy it.
  15. The shoots always going to your head with pretty precission, so you do not need to see any blood, only black vission. XD. Greetings.
  16. I could see that in similar contditions. I do not understand that blade movement.
  17. Hello, I had a bug when I collided the blades with the ground: When I was landing at low altitude and very low speed, I did a side strong movement and the Apache's blades collided with ground. The helicopter remained stable on the ground. The cockpit was strong shaking because the collision with the ground, so I did shut off the engines, and and I stopped the movement of the blades. But the cockpit did continue strong shaking, it did not stop. When I got external view from the Apache, it was not shaking. I got inside my cockpit and it was shaking endlessly. I made a video: https://1drv.ms/v/s!Ao6Jj_kkDFQUjERXPgB77iSKXts-?e=86O3Gg
  18. It will be very interesting and usefull that ED put a converter tool integrated on the map/F10 and the Editor, so you would have not to worry about the place and the year to calculate magnetic headings. Now, Map/F10 have interesting tools like calculating the decimal latitude and longitude and more (using ALT + Y), so why not a tool like I have mentioned before? Please ED team, keep that in mind.
  19. Maybe different tab color for the active one... Greetings.
  20. Same problem here, I can't get 3DS MAX 2017 or older version. Minimun version available is 3DS MAX 2018. So I can't develop anything for DCS !! :(
  21. +1.
  22. In real life, you can adjust your sit for up or down possition, thats normal because everybody has different high... A-10C puts your "virtual" pilot in an initial fix position that it should be correct for use your cockpit with all distances ok. So you should see the HUD correctly, in vertical and wide size. When I start in VR in my cockpit, I see I am in correct position and distances from all panels, stick, HUD... Why should I to change my config views manualy for search a correct possition? Then I would be too forward sitted, for example, and that possition would be extrange. That problem is in this module only. Curiosly.
  23. Thanks you so much, Bignewy, I had just sent a ticket to Andrey Filin about this issue. ;)
  24. Esay to understand, imacken, You should see well the HUD without be a tall man, lowering the seat. And the wide sized is a little big at normal distance of the seat, or we need to move the seat forward? :P Greetings!
  25. I really liked the new A10C cockpit, in VR it is amazing! Good job ED! But there is a big problem with the HUD, it is not well adjusted in size and vertical position unlike other cockpit modules. If ED fixed that issue, A10C would be PERFECT.
