  3. Hopefully a nice easy one. Are there any script addons that will allow me to spawn friendly AI SEAD or CAP, e.g. from F10 or a map marker? Thanks in advance.
  4. Ah yeah, good call on the FARP, thanks. The only downside of that is you have to be careful on placement. For example, place it too near a hangar on the map and said hangar will not appear in game. Still, a workable solution, but hopefully ED can implement the feature requested.
  5. I'm not seeing a shut down command/task in delayed triggers. In my test the landing command is the final waypoint. I don't see a 'time on ground' checkbox, but if you're referring to the 'On land' checkbox, that's unchecked. So yeah, if you have some time later to take a look then that would be great. Nevertheless, an option in the advanced waypoint actions would still be a neater, simpler solution!

  7. When instructing an AI helo to land on the ground could we have an option for them to shutdown too? At the moment, adding the action Perform Task:Land will get the helo onto the ground, but they'll keep their engines running. That's noisy and not very green! Note I'm referring to the advanced waypoint action landing, and not the generic landing at an airbase.
  8. Yup, I share your concerns. I'm running a G2 with a 1080Ti. Getting decent performance but for sure I'd like better. GPU prices are still crazy. I'm sat here looking at 11 guitars thinking "hmm which one of you can I sell in order to get a RTX 3080". The answer of course is none of them. Maybe. I'm hopeful that performance will be acceptable until the gfx rework.
  9. Given that you won't be getting your hands on it until release day, wouldn't your financial support be worth more if you waited until then and paid full price?
  10. I'm normally one for fresh starts, but for Win11 I updated from Win10 Pro. You may prefer that route, because then you can easily roll back to Win10 (Settings->System->Recovery and choose “Go Back) if you aren't satisfied, as long as you do so within 10 days. After that, if you needed to go back to Win10 you'd have to install from scratch.
  11. FWIW I've experienced no issues whatsoever. In fact, I feel performance has improved, though that's completely anecdotal. My setup isn't too great either: Intel i7-8700K 32GB RAM NVidia GTX 1080Ti HP Reverb G2
  12. Ok, sorry for the report - I thought that was the best way of getting in touch with someone in the team rather than PMing someone directly. But please mate, can we just have an answer to the question? We know the feature is 'planned' but the question is will it be present at release into early access? i.e. Day 1. We want to enjoy the Apache on day 1 just like every other player, and will be unable to do so (in VR) without this fundamental feature being present. It's not fun being half blind in real life, but it's a real pain in the air when people are shooting at you!
  13. The fact that they plan to do something is fine. Great. Yay and all that. The question I am asking ED, quite specifically, is if it will be implemented when the Apache is released into early access. I underlined that because some people are missing the point. It just needs a yes or no answer. And if the answer's no then the next steps aren't for the forums.

  15. See here I'm almost blind in my right eye. Nobody from ED has, to my knowledge, confirmed that the render eye option will be available at release into early access. I did post the question - again - on today's video so hopefully they'll confirm. I think it'll be fine. The option is there on other aircraft despite not being realistic. Also I'm sure no company of Eagle Dynamics' calibre would blatantly discriminate against a subset of people, whilst making them be unable to play a game they've paid for, with no refund option! So I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.
  16. I just use the suggested settings that Chuck puts in his guides. Never failed me.
  17. Added track and DCS.LOG Log file shows damage registered at lines 1544/45 and 1551/52. Track shows me spawn in cold. My buddy then spawns in cold too (I haven't begun startup). On spawning my buddy reports that Jester called out damage. My buddy then disconnected. I starting firing up the jet, took the wings out of oversweep. My buddy then spawned in.   18. In multiplayer I'm experiencing a spawn damage/desync issue. e.g. Tomcat 1 spawns in cold on the starboard elevator ahead of the island. Tomcat 2 spawns in cold, right next to him, and both planes instantly take damage. I thought this old issue was resolved. Anything we can do about this? Love the model though - it's beautiful. Another first class effort from Heatblur.

  20. Hi You say you forwarded the ports. Protocols too (UDP and TCP) ? Can you post your serversettings.lua?
  21. Pretty sure ED have already said they'd be expanding out the Supercarrier, including the hangar bay and a briefing room. But for moving aircraft between the hangar bay and flight deck I guess they'd also need to include a driveable AS32-32A spotting dolly (tractor). Because you do realise that pilots don't taxi their aircraft to and from the hangar deck don't you? I do think non-flying flight deck roles could be appealing to many players though.
  22. This is the only warbird I've managed to land successfully, from the very first flight. So yup, definitely something not quite right with it yet! Love it though, lots of fun.

Whilst in multicrew I observed (from the observer seat): Rudder trim - indicator syncs correctly between pilot and observer Elevator trim - indicator does not move at all for observer Aileron trim - indicator stuck slightly left wing down for observer. Does not move. Can someone confirm please? Unsure if it's just me, or a bug.
