    I meant the F-14, because I didn't buy it.

Is this your personal opinion or is there an objective source of information? Link?

  6. I'm just asking myself, why someone buys an EA product, if he can't wait one week for an update???:doh::doh:
  7. +1.
  8. Come on, you're not really impressed by the notorious complainers here, are you? So no information for all is better?

Andere Flugzeuge (z.B.
  10. You can only carry AIM-9 on stations 2 and 4.
  11. Well, probably not during simulated air combat. Else you wouldn't really bother about throwing flares at your enemies air inlet, with a chance of something like 0,0001 % to hit it and even smaller to cause damage with them. :)
  13. Like Emmy said, then you're dead already. :D
  14. Since flares are only relatively small pyrotechnic cartridges, I have slight doubt that they would damage turbine blades if ingested. In addition, they do not fly on a straight trajectory behind the aircraft but fall in a ballistic curve. How do you want to aim at the air intake of an airplane behind you and even hit it with your flares???
  15. I bought a TM Warthog replacement stick from Thrustmaster in 2017. TM offered it for 114 €, shipping fees included. I just wrote a mail to http://support.thrustmaster.com and asked for a replacement stick. The stick was delivered in something like 10 days.
  16. Just had my first take-off, something like 15 minutes of free flight and a subsequent landing. Feels great! Thanks ED!:thumbup::thumbup:
  18. After watching a few videos about the Lightning and having read some articles about it, I can only say - a very extraordinary aircraft. It would be nice to be able to fly her one day in DCS.
  20. I'm sure everybody here knows, we're talking about a simulator, so we don't have actual engineering or structural costs. You still have to programm those 'pixels' to do whatever they are intended to do. It's a lot of work for a single cockpit. What about the other stations in a large bomber? They all have to be programmed too and linked and sychronized to each other. So probably much more work to do, than a single-seater, meaning it's gonna cost a lot more money to develop. Would you be willing to pay a multiple of the cost of a normal module for a bomber?
  21. And your statement is based on what? Did you do market research about the requirement of multi-crew aircraft in combat simulators? It's only your opinion, too. You must live with it, that not everybody has to agree with you.
  22. No statement from the developers for a long time. Not much activity on github either (https://github.com/heclak/community-a4e-c/issues). Problems within the team or negotiations on a full module? Just speculating. :music_whistling::D
  23. I only speak for myself, but my interest in an airplane with more than 2 crew members is zero. It's already a problem to find a reliable co-pilot for DCS, let alone to fill all the other stations of a large bomber like the B-52. I can't really imagine that many users would be interested in such a multicrew monster. In the end, such a development must pay off for ED or a 3rd party.
  24. Most of the time I spend in DCS, I'm a Hog driver. I bought the AV-8 a few weeks ago and it's a lot of fun. VTOL is real fun and makes a lot of scenarios possible, that the Hog can't keep up with. Of corse, the Hog was built for other tasks. The AV-8 is in EA, so I'm quite pleased with the functionalities that are available at the moment. There may be some problems, but it's still fun to fly. But with the Viper around the corner, I think I won't have much time left to fly the Harrier. :)
