I'm quite sure the cockpits of the F-14 delivered by Grumman haven't been that filthy when they left the factory. Being deployed first in 1974, they probably didn't have such a worn cockpit in the 1980s. Maybe in 2000 or later, when they got retired. And HB probably scanned the cockpit more than a decade later. No wonder it looks so filthy... :music_whistling:
In the install-folder of DCS-World. Example for F/A-18:

My DCS-World ist installed on drive E.
That's the theory. Practically it's bugged. Just programmed 4 Harpoons individually, step by step and checked the launch parameters. Each of them flying to my waypoint 3. There they should go on bearing 53 and start searching after flying for 5 miles from there. Two Harpoons hit a Molnija, the next two just flew bearing 0 at waypoint 3 and hit the Iranian mountains something like 15 miles later. I'd say the Harpoon is still bugged - but hey, it just got released and certainly will get fixed during the next weeks. :)
I'm no insider, but I suppose there is a lot of bullshit written about the German airforce and the army alltogether. But bad news sell and the media are like hyenas. If someone's wounded, they jump right at their throat. :smartass:
I meant something like a U2-R from the 1980's. We also have the F/A-18 in DCS and it is still flying. Also the F-16 coming. Would be from the same era.
I assume you're using a German keyboard. Just press the "Druck" key. The screenshot will be saved in your "C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS\ScreenShots" folder.
Don't think there are too many options, if you want a pure reconnaissance aircraft. U-2, SR-71, M-55 and maybe Tornado ECR. Maybe the U-2 could be old enough to have most systems unclassified?
Xilon_X, you already asked for nuclear weapons in this thread and your thread was closed with a clear answer:

What makes you think we would need nuclear explosions in HD? How do you think realistic damage could be calculated in DCS?
I don't play football and I don't build or design joysticks. But I'm sure TM doesn't need 5 to 7 years to design a new joystick. It was marketing reasons why it took so long. Who would have bought the new F/A-18 stick, as long as there was no F/A-18 to fly in any serious current simulator?
I don't think TM needed 5 or 7 years to desigen the new F/A-18 grip. The reason why it lasted so long is quite simple. There was no F/A-18 module to fly within DCS. Now with the F/A-18 module (hopefully) coming to the end of early access status, it was the right time for TM to bring their new stick to the market. :smartass:
