  2. Well, I just bought some rudder pedals MK IV something like a month ago on the European web-shop. They ar still available and the quality is outstanding. https://flightsimcontrols.com/shop/
  3. Maybe we should start a petition on ED taking the radio out of the SDK. :smilewink:
  5. That's a simple and good solution for everyone. Thanks!
  6. That's a simple and good solution.
  7. F-117A because it's an exceptional aircraft witch exceptional capabilities. I just love post #40. I hope we'll all live long enough until half of that table will be available. :megalol:
  8. You can't really compare the AV-8B, which is a full module you have to pay for, with the free A-4E mod. Full modules have SDK access, mods not.
  9. Wow, good work! As soon as it's available, it will be my first helicopter module. :)
  10. Only had one ASUS board im my life and that was over 20 years ago. The 'Socket 7' ASUS board always crashed with my Diamond Viper graphics card which was connected to a Diamond Monster 3D accelerator. After a few days of trying to solve the problem without having any success, I replaced the board with a vanilla board from HSINTECH. That one worked without any problems. Never again touched an ASUS board since those days, because I never felt the need to do so. There are many other manufacturers in the market.
  12. Never used Github or Discord in my life. But maybe you could post a link to those. :music_whistling: In post #935 you asked what we would like to see worked on/finished/added to the A-4E, and post #948 was my answer. :smilewink:
  13. Maybe even the F-35? :P
  14. Can't see anything new. The 'English' cockpit ist still a mixed mess of English and Russian labeling. I suppose it can't be so hard to fix that - but well, they probably have more important things to do.
  15. Some things I would like, but maybe it already will be included in v. 1.03. :music_whistling: - cold start and rearming on the carrier-deck - functioning IFF (a simple one would be OK :)) - functioning 'Volume' knob for the Shrike with some sound when it has acquired a radar-target (don't know if the real A-4E was equipped with that) - functioning 'Seat Up-Down' knob - working handle to arm the ejection-seat - working 'Oxygen' knob
  16. Wow! Great idea! This thing with the view of a targeting-pod, some MAVs and GBUs would be really nice to have. I wonder, why we don't have this as a cheap module. No cockpit needs to be modeled, just the optics and the flight model. The weapons already exist in DCS.
  17. I'm not sure wether you have read what I wrote. I just say it again: "If you like to fly modern jets, you may consider having a look at this: http://realsimulator.com/html/fssb_r3_lighting.html , It's a force sensing stick, like the one in the F-16" Now what does that have to do with helicopters?
  18. Many thanks for the answer. Take the time to bring out a thoroughly tested update. We now have more than just basic features in the A-4E and the plane is already a lot of fun. It would be fantastic if you could unlock some features on the radio. Of course there is the problem with the SDK access, but you always need something to dream about... :smilewink:
  19. If you like to fly modern jets, you may consider having a look at this: http://realsimulator.com/html/fssb_r3_lighting.html :), It's a force sensing stick, like the one in the F-16.
  20. Can you guys from the developer-team give us a rough estimate about when version 1.03 is planned to be released? Still in February or maybe next month?
  21. One of the non-functional weapons in the A-4E mod is the AGM-62 Walleye. The Walleye is a TV guided precision glide bomb and I just ask myself how it could be deployed from the A-4E in real life, if there was no TV-screen in the cockpit? Anyone here able to explain this?
  22. It would be really nice, if ED would loosen the radio-restrictions for mods. The more modules and mods we have, the larger our community should become, because everybody will find a module or mod that suits him best. And I think everybody will agree that the Community A-E-C Mod is of really outstanding quality. It would really deserve the possibility of using a decent radio communication.
  23. Just try to ditch with any aircraft in DCS and see what happens. I don't think the current DCS supports landing on water. And of corse, who cares about an aircraft that has been built in a number of 2 or 3 units? It had its good reasons, why they abandoned the idea of landing on the water with jets and delta-wings. Let the waves on the ocean get a little higher and you've got a submarine, when trying to ditch.
  24. Russian propaganda. How many "Caspian Sea Monsters" were developed to operational status? Correct - NONE!
  25. Well, I'm already happy with Nero.ger's RWR mod. Anything beyond that is a welcome improvement. An aural tone with a light on the glareshield would be great. Then I can patiently wait for the AN/APR-25. :)
