  1. He guys, since the release of the 'Community A-4E Mod' I am flying around with it quite often. Because the mod-makers didn't have access to the SDK, we can make radio-transmissions only on the ground with the canopy opened. How could I make a wingman engage a specific target during flight? As an example I would like to attack a Silkworm group. When I have killed the group's Radar my wingman should attack the rest of the group. Can I do that without LUA-scripting or Moose? Thank you for your suggestions! :) I tried it with 'Triggers' and 'Triggered Actions' but my wingman just keeps following me and won't attack the Silkworms (screens attached). :mad:
  2. I just replaced the 2 files (devices/device_init) in the '\A-4E-C\Cockpit\Scripts\' folder and placed the rwr.lua in the 'Systems' subdirectory. Works fine for me. Just to make sure, your A-4E mod is installed in the folder 'C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\Aircraft\A-4E-C', right?

    An armed Yak-52 would probably be fun just against unarmed enemies. If flying low, we could be shot down by any soldier armed with an AK-47. :( Nevertheless it would be nice to have the option to put some armament on the Yak.

  5. I had the same problem. Try increasing the drop-interval. Maybe your bombs are colliding during the small ripple-interval. The tailfin of the Snakeye is unfolding after release, so it may collide with the next released bomb.

    I'd say the pod's shadow is just underneath it. The shadow of the front fuselage is obstructed by the pod, so we can't see it. Sun is shining from the upper right direction in the image.

  13. I can confirm the bug. In F1-view the canopy dissapears when it is totally open. No problem in F2-view. I'm also using ver. 1.02. Ooops, sorry Tirak, just read your post about fixing the problem last night. Ignore my post.
  14. As much as I know, there are no training missions in the work. But Merker said something about posting some more tutorials soon, especially about air-to-ground weapons.

  18. The F/A-18 isn't used by US Navy only. Other users, such as Switzerland, have no aircraft carriers (at least I've never seen one on Lake Constance). Why should they smash their Hornets to the ground at high sinking rates, just because the plane was designed for carrier landings? You can also make material-friendly landings by flaring - the taxpayer will be grateful. :smilewink:
  19. Every aircraft can be flared when landing. You don't have to bump it on the runway, if you don't have to catch a wire on the boat.
  20. Not all of our missions start or end on a carrier. So why not have the Litening pod and fly it from an air-base?

  22. Hello Merker! In your version 1.02 update you mentioned the integration of Nero’s RWR Mod, including in-cockpit effects in one of the next mod-versions. Can you give us some more details about this? Will it be a flashing light and sound only or even a small RWR screen?

  24. You can try Wheelyjoe's guide here, post #42: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=225016&page=5. I think it's the best you can find at the moment. TACAN is working on fixed (ground) stations. ILS not but INS with two waypoints.
