  1. RIP "Gospadin" So sad...
  2. Too many thumbscrews for my taste. How about the new Fractal Design Define R6? http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/define-series/define-r6-gunmetal-tg

Any news since end of May?
  4. Watch this video about changing cams and springs of the Gladiator. Their mechanics is almost similar.
  5. I have my HOTAS Warthog since 2012. No problems so far. Just replaced the stick's base with a Gunfighter two weeks ago.
  6. It would be very interesting how many users DCS currently has. Could the ED officials provide us with such information? For example, how often was which module sold? If ED can't or doesn't want to call numbers, perhaps ranking lists could be provided to us, to see which modules were sold most often. :smartass:
  7. I can agree with that. :D
  8. Hi Rainer! Sure about the LEDs? After resetting my Gunfighter to default (post #554) I have a steady blue on SYS and steady green on STICK. I think that's how it should be. Why else would the STICK LED be on the BlackBox, if it wasn't lit, when a stick is connected?
  9. I have installed the updated KG12 grip profile that enables the pinky switch to be a shift button - just as described by rrhode in post #538. It works fine so far, but the "Stick"-LED on the blackbox isn't illuminated any more. Before installing the updated profile the "Stick"-LED was lighted in solid green. As already said, it works fine, but shouldn't the "Stick"-LED be shining in green color? Also VKBDevCfg-C shows on "Commom -> Global" that my stick has 0 hats and 128 buttons. But that's already been shown before the profile update. Edit: Roll-back to default KG12 profile with 7 buttons didn't change the problem with the unlit "Stick"-LED. I think the guys at VKB should update their black-box firmware, because I don't think it works as it should. Edit #2: Resetting the device to factory default solved the problem with the unlit "Stick"-LED (HowTo: http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2654). Now everything is fine. "Stick"-LED is green, "SYS"-LED is blue. All buttons and axes are OK. :smilewink:
  10. Thanks, Rainer. You're fast as lightning! Do you ever sleep? :D
  11. Where should the "W" cam of the Warthog adapter be mounted? On the pitch or roll axis?
  12. You may want to read the pages 48 & 49 of this thread. Some other guys seem to have similar problems. And maybe this helps: http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=27&p=26101#p26101. I don't really know if it works, because I still use the Gunfighter with the KG12 grip. As soon as my second Warthog grip is delivered by Thrustmaster, I will give it a try.

  14. Hi rrohde! You made a really great job. While the VKB-Shop in Europe doesn't even list the gunfighter in their store or show a picture of it, you are already shipping them. So I think the problems are not on your side of the Atlantic.

Quite some time since the last news. Nothing new here?
  16. I'm flying the A-10 since "Lock-On" times (that was something like 2003). Since then I had to eject 3 times - if the statistics in my logbook is right. At 3 ejections in 14 years I don't really care how fast my parachute is descending. :D
  17. Seems to have been a communication problem. Today the customer support wrote: "We did not understand you request. We can gladly send you a new HOTAS WARTHOG JOYSTICK HANDLE COMPLETE; this costs 96 Euro. The shipment with the standard postal services costs 18 Euro and express delivery costs 31 Euro."
  18. I can not confirm the info in the first post. I wanted to order a new grip for my Warthog. This ist what the Thrustmaster customer support answered to my question about ordering a new grip: "Unfortunately the grip is not a spare part that we sell."
  19. Just installed creator's edition ver. 1703. Works with no problems. No problems in DCS either.
  20. Watch this video on youtube: During the video, something like 7 minutes and 35 seconds Matt Wagner gives quite a few details about the chronological order of work on the maps and the merge to version 2.5.
  21. I don't think they are working on the merge right now. They are rather working on Normandy an continue on the merge, when Normandy is released. :(
  22. @ dores893: I agree. Aircraft like the A-10C and the Ka-50 are the modules that made DCS what it is. I never understood, why we had to have the ww2-stuff, but that's the way it is. Would be nice though, if ED would concentrate on aircraft like the ones mentioned above. Anyone wanting to fly warbirds, could fly "Cliffs of Dover"...
  23. I don't know about any official training missions, but you can find some videos on youtube. This one is quite good and short:
  24. As already reported on March 3rd F-5E still crashes at mission-start, just after clicking on the "Fly" button. Latest update didn't change anything. Logfile is added below. dcs.zip
  25. Waiting for the Gunfighter in Europe is even harder. The European site (flightsimcontrols.com) didn't even mention the new Gunfighter with one word. Purchase or preorder is impossible until now...:(
