  1. Fantastic, thank you :thumbup:. Just spend most of the afternoon tying it into a big dedicated server sandbox mission used in the community I fly in. Looking forward to try this on a large scale.
  2. Some further looking into the performance problem. Using the same mission as Ive used all along (all happens in the Krymsk, Maykop, Tuapse triangle), I added a client Ka-50 with takeoff from ground down in Turkey, so far far away. Now I have around 80 fps, compared to the 33 on the ramp at Gelendzhik (or any other place up there). So could indicate some further LOD issue, maybe related to what is or isnt used for reflections, or maybe something completely different that turns 'off' at range to player. I also tried setting all AI to 'AI OFF', made zero difference.
  3. For what its worth. Same mission, same settings (SSLR off in 2.5.6). 2.5.5 vs 2.5.6. - 2.5.5 is the one with the highest framerate. Notice the simulation frametime in 2.5.6. Edit: And no, its not related to the Ka-50. I can jump in any module and get the same result.

  5. Because you arent as sensitive to performance loss, frame drops and stutters? I have come across many who say their performance is fine, and fine is rather relative, yet some only run 20 fps (even in VR) and are perfectly happy with it and dont really know what they ran before, or even before you asked. My threshold is 60 fps on monitor and 45 fps in VR, and I notice it immediately when Im below that.
  6. I feel for us customers even more, cause that could very well be we have to live with this for quite some time. And this is not a hit at Razbam, cause Id imagine the 3rd party devs waiting this out a little. Even ED didnt tweak their own modules yet.
  7. I lost performance with 2.5.6 too. In single player, a mission I have been building for some days now (rather ground unit intensive) just went unplayable. Lost at least half my frames, just sitting there on the ramp (units not visible from there). Online I have lost performance too, joined on a dedicated server. Not as much as the above, but enough to see and measure it. Id say a good 25% in MP, and as much as 50% in unit intensive missions. This is in 1080p monitor and SSLR is off.

  9. The classic hit the nail on the head :thumbup:. Im in the same boat with mission design. I do it a lot for the group I fly with, but I have no interest in the SC module, yet several that I fly with do and have bought it. Now I have to buy it, to add it to the mission.. not happening. So as it looks now. I can make the mission, then those who own the SC have to place it, and now the mission is off my hands, I cant fix things because there is a module in there I dont own (and its very far from the same as with WWII pack, cause that adds an entirely new era, ment for Normandy map and the new Channel map). So please ED. Reconsider the structure.

  11. Thank you Hardcard :thumbup:. Seems it will only spawn, if the flag is on before the script is loaded. If I set the flag on after the script is loaded, no spawn. Also if I set the Flag on before, get a spawn, change the flag to off, it wont stop the respawning. I guess I didnt explain that very well in my first post. My attention is, that I want to switch given 'respawn' flights on and off as the mission progresses.
  12. I dont know scripting, I dont script/program (tried many times but very programming illiterate sadly), so I find and scavenge your great work here on the forum. But Im stuck and really need a little more functionality to a Moose respawn script that I found on here, but Im unable to find or create exactly what I need. do Spawn_E3A = SPAWN:New("NATO E-3A Sentry") Spawn_E3A:InitLimit( 1, 0 ):SpawnScheduled( 60, 0 ) Spawn_E3A:InitRepeatOnEngineShutDown() end This is what Im using, but I need for it to rely on a flag being true. So if for example Flag 1 is true, then the spawn/respawn sequence becomes active. If Flag 1 is false, then the spawn/respawn sequence is idle (plane wont spawn). Any help very appreciated.
  13. Was said in last newsletter that the P-47 would release along with a WWII map, and some time ago that the P-47 would release Q1 2020. So I guess we can assume that The Channel Map releases then too.

  18. Some servers/host use their own (included in their miz) file, and that overwrites what ever the client uses.
  19. Are you pressing the Master Reset (no 8 in following link)? http://www.heatblur.se/F-14Manual/cockpit.html#fuel-management-panel Hitting the Master Caution Light on the ACM panel doesnt do the trick, it only turns of the Master Caution Light.
