  1. Thx RVator
  2. Oh, the sensor right behind your head. Tracking all good with that?
  3. I doubt that ever really started - or even was an actual project, besides a bit of 3D modelling.
  4. Im using PD 1.0 and no SSAA. Might be the difference for the different positioning?
  5. In 2.5.4.30038 Open Beta, the Jester wheel has shifted left.
  6. Its when over water, that it appears darker than before - at least like I remember it. The Global Illumination stuff, all them small cubemaps we fly trough.
  7. Good, cause I didnt really like what I saw. Was what I call tired light. Too dark. Im sitting under a fully transparent canopy under a glaring sun in the middle east, yet it feels like Im inside a hangar (on the ambient side). Guessing its a HDR / tonemapping change.
  8. Good golly miss Molly
  9. Another thing I forgot to mention, which is something Im pleased about every time I fly on PG, is that the scale of things seems more accurate, compared to Caucasus. So at any altitude I feel like the sense of speed is more accurate, along with judging altitude. Just feels right on PG .
  10. Is it me, or did the lighting change. In particular the ambient light. It feels more blue and the shaded/ambient side feels darker than before? - Using default gamma 2.2, and was the F-5E on PG I used.
  11. Awesome video, besides the radar footage. Thx for sharing  Good show of the radar at 14m19 too (inclucing lock)
  12. Really hope that we will see this thoroughbred as PFM/ASM in DCS some day. Choosing the A cause I have this strange fetish with what they were designed to be, and not what they grew into. Granted the C is more of a beast, but Id still like the A over the C - though I would certainly not complain getting a C. The E doesnt really interest me. So maybe with a bit of luck, after the F-16 and F-4, there is a spot for this F-teen too.
  13. Largest list of hotfixes I've ever seen in that case. Maybe you guys should browse over the changelog again.
  14. Two biggest cons would be size, so given clients upload would quickly max out, causing their download rate to suffer too, and then you have real shit ping real fast. Then there is the lack of control. Users could make some real nasty skins real quick, that we wouldnt like to see. Biggest con is the size though. These things are big and some a huge. Several F-14 skins are 200mb a piece for example. So I have made such a F-14 skins that Id like the world to see, and I join a server with 40 clients on it all rocking a nice F-14 skin of their own. Now I have to feed 40 x 200mb, all the while Im also sucking skins from the other 40 clients. And this is every time I join a server. Very worst case.
  15. Just downloaded it of the site, and all the files are layered here. - using Photoshop CS2
  16. Love it
  17. Really hard to say, cause 'decently' is very subjective. But since you ask, see my signature for specs. Id say thats about the bare minimum for a good enough DCS experience, under various mission conditions.
  18. You sure it wasnt under Mission?
  19. Had forgotten about this thread. My workaround since then has just been to set the Viggen as Intercept, then I can select it again. If I set it as GroundAttack (default), then I cant select it, unless I select another plane (another type), then I can go back and select the Viggen. The error message I havent seen since. Not sure what that was.
  20. LOL. Reminds me of the mid 80's, with the Commodore 64, its tape recorder (Datasette), ABC Turbo, and then choosing between having a tape full of games, or half a tape full of games, cause you had to fast forward to a given number, and start loading the given game :D
  21. The Fighter Pilot Podcast #45: F-16 Fighting Falcon On this episode, retired US Air Force Reserve Colonel Mike “T-DAY” Torrealday, who amassed over 4,000 flight hours in nearly every block and variant of the Viper over a 29-year career, joins us to discuss this amazing fighter as a continuation of our ‘aircraft series.’ T-DAY describes the many variants, flight envelope, ordnance inventory, and so much more. https://www.fighterpilotpodcast.com/episodes/045-f-16-fighting-falcon/
  22. Thank you . Looks like I can finally start sharpening my pencils then, cause I have been waiting for the reload to work, for a very long time. I couldnt be arsed to restart the program every time I needed to check what Im doing - not the workflow Im used to.
