1. I PM'ed you back Deyneko I am interested, please let me know if you receive it, as I have been having issues replying to PM, I think its something I am doing wrong. I will give a longer message when I get home from work.
2. That is kind of funny, I had a 73 Toyota Celica GT with a 18-RG DOHC engine twin Solex carbs... 5-speed... Man that car was fun. Peg the tach and shift...it would eat 5.0 mustangs and IROC Cameros for breakfast
3. counter weights for early hi-low speed (two speed) prop pitch system on many 30s and early 40s aircraft
4. same here crashes just before mission start. reverted back, no crash. Updated to 2.5.1 again and crashes again. seems to happen on Normandy mostly, how ever has happened on Nevada map once or twice. Hasn't crashed on Caucasses map yet. checked driver, is up to date. no mods, tried clean and repair. no help. single monitor.
5. sounds like the generators dropped off line. does the EKRAN say gen. 1 , gen. 2 failure? the autopilot turning off is a symptom of that also. when it happens, lower the collective some and the generators should come back online, then reset the autopilot.
6. You are most likely zoomed all the way in ,just zoom the TAD out a click or two and it should fix it.
7. Umm.. Did anyone notice the lever on the left side of the throttle... the one with the "B" on it...for BOOST.. mixture also..man I cant wait for the jug
8. That's Awesome news! Those cockpit shots look great.
9. Hello All, I have been doing some research into another project, and ran across some NACA docs I haven't seen yet. all are concerning P-47D, however the picture of the aircraft is showing a Razorback. so it's most likely a D-25, but they are testing the wing alone, so the data may or my not be valid, but it might fill in a gap or two. I cant help but think (pray) that the info needed is in an archive somewhere, we just have to find it. I am considering compiling all the already posted info's into one thread so we don't keep posting the same thing over and over, and wasting every ones time, but free time is short for the next month or so, maybe I will get to it then. So here is some more data, it may be helpful if more info was given on what is missing data wise. I do apologize if it was posted and I missed it.
10. see the first post of this and run the registry cleaner provided, it works, as I have used it several times
11. :helpsmilie::pilotfly::joystick::doh: OMG OMG REALLY?
12. this+++ we need ground pounders any Russian bird from that era would be cool also.
13. OK so I regrouped. I am hoping to build a campaign or 2, or at least a lot of missions, from the point of view of the Allies and the Luftwaffe, leading up to D-day. As I come across info, I will post it here as an aid to the other mission builders, and any one else interested. If you are a history buff like me it makes for interesting reading, there is a million different mission and campaign ideas( operation PointBlank being an obvious one) and all the group and squadron info is all in these docs, so it's possible to be as accurate as possible historically. (as far as correct groups and mission targets and other info is concerned). I will start with the 8th and 9th air forces first
14. I have been doing research into the air war prior to D-day from the point of view of the Luftwaffe and the allies. I am trying to post some studies by the air force after the war please bear with me. I found I have to split the Luftwaffe docs because they are to big to post in one file.
15. the b-17 is default empty, just add the bomb loadout and they work fine
16. thank you! I think I had the values wrong and no action to the trigger.... Thanks again, will try when I get home for work. here is some Rep
17. :helpsmilie:ok so to keep a long story short,I have been learning mission building... triggers and flags... figured out how to have different missions an d groups F-10 menu items spawn and do I want them to do... my question is how can I assign a score to a target so that it counts a points to successfully complete a mission? any help would be welcome here's a few mission files bridge at Basse is on Normandy map
18. Ed and BelsimTech have both stated that there unannounced modules and "surprises" coming. Veao has also stated they are waiting for a unified code. It has had to be a nightmare trying to program 3 different branches. Most likely the pace will pick up now that the merge has happened. there seems to be a lot of content and bug fixes and improvements still inbound, but delayed till the merge. plus the map tool isn't available yet. Keep the faith. however I am 52 and wont be able to fly forever, so I can understand the urgency...
19. it is actually gold tint to resist electromagnetic interference.
20. hello, in my opinion,(bear in mind I am not a computer programmer), I would delete 1.5 stable. its going to be un supported anyway, the beta branch will give the earliest update. just be sure to back up saved games and the logbook for missions and stuff, then after the merge you can opt to keep 1.5.8 and revert back if you wanted to for some reason.
21. Wow, 2 more sleeps and 2.5 will drop. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas!:megalol: cleaned all my drives and got my mission files straight and backed up saved games folders, backed up my Mods_ folders and logbooks. I think I'm ready... Bring it on! Man it's going to be nice with only stable and Beta!
22. I would pass out if I had clickable Flaming Cliffs planes. They would not have to be more complex, (yet) just be clickable. I would buy them all as separate modules at a fair price (sorry for off topic).
23. Yes the Module is a blast. It seems the EA release went smoothly and no showstoppers that I hit yet
24. Just wanted to say thank you Reflected, I have tried your other missions and they are great also :pilotfly:Rep IB
25. To me the price is more than fair. Would I like it cheaper? Sure, who would not? however would we like them to sell products at a loss, then be out of buisness? or come to the conclusion that the public side is dragging them down? over all its still a reasonable price, and as far as the early access goes, the last several have gone without huge problems and I suspect the longer EA is to continue that trend. I bought it, and don't regret it, It just cant get here soon enough!
