yea we had it too, it seems rudder and brake axis are corrupt. mine are sytec pro. toe brakes worked, but only straight, diff braking did not work. this happened with us all (3) we all seemed to have the same symptoms

I agree. the point is to have fun. also set the skill level to the lowest setting, arm them with guns only. the AI can be brutal. set the 130's at 100 miles to practice radar skills etc. if the plane you fly has it.

Hello, Welcome! I don't use the Steam version, so I'm not much help. Do you have any other games that work ok on multiplayer on Steam? If your IP is configured correctly, it may be worth a post in the steam forum. Can your friend log onto your other comp. with standalone DCS on it? It sounds like a steam problem though.

Hello. I would have to agree with Saburo, 54 in manifold pressure is way too much for that RPM. as a rule of thumb, never run with the throttle further forward than the Prop lever. I use 3000 and about 50 in. for Take off. Hope this helps.

I don't know, most computer sound systems, have questionable sound quality. I hooked up my computer to my Macke PA.... then loaded DCS and flew my P-51 and Spit and Dora and 109. besides my neighbors' thinking the BoB was going on in my house, the sound was incredible! individual computer systems may have a lot to do with some players reaction. just a guess though. My 16in Peavey loud speakers may have something to do with it, also. I know it is 2 extremes, but showed the difference in speakers and sound systems make a huge difference.

All you have to do is update to take advantage of all the new content. the serial numbers will work in both versions, but 1.5 is not supported any more. the advantages of 2.5 far outweigh 1.5. the new Caucuses' map is beautiful.

hello all, I had the crash also, and the update today seems to have fixed it. In my case the performance seems to be better also, but that could just be me.

Try setting a higher speed in the mission editor, 300 or 325, they wont exceed the set speed I believe, But I could be wrong. the mission editor speed is ground speed. at alt ground speed is much higher than indicated air speed.

hello all, I have a funny story, and a possible bug report. I searched the 109 bugs forum and did not see it reported. I was flying with my squad mate DFlow on Burning skies yesterday, and after our patrol, several brief dogfights, and low fuel lights on, we headed back to base.(we had full fuel to start) DFlow landed first, then I landed and taxied over to him. well he was laughing so hard, I could not really understand what he was saying, something about.... landing gear.....hovering....?. I really didn't think much of it and took a screenshot for our after flight report. this is the screen I took.... This is the screen he took.... I did notice after I landed before I took my screenshot, the right landing gear light was not green but the left one was , but the plane landed and behaved normally. This is what he was laughing about! Anyway it was multiplayer, so there is not a track. however, there might be a tacVeiw track of the flight, I will find out if needed. we will try to reproduce if possible. dFlow ger/en-Yesterday at 7:47 PM just a couple of screens from our todays flights Andys ReichFlugScheibe

Hi all, Just to be clear, lately I haven't flown the German birds much,, but have about 50+hrs in both. as far as the Dora goes, it's engine has always been temperamental, and would on occasion would blow up for no apparent reason. however, I found that after I started making sure the radiator flaps are open before taking off,( don't open them manually) seemed to help a lot. I will test some later and report my results. I plead guilty also, but lets please try to keep discussion of 109 in 109 forum, to avoid confusion, I was just responding to the post above mine, not trying to hijack or derail the thread.

I don't know, it is very random. I just flew on Burning Skies today in 109, and flew a whole tank of fuel and used MW-50 several times, one for at least 4-5 mins. and even forgot to turn it on at first, and realized my mistake when the engine started vibrating. turned it on and it was fine for the rest of the flight.

Hello, the mission editor can be a little "complex". here is the DCS users manual from 2.5.2 open beta, however I think the manual is the same. it is found in<drive>/ program files/eagle dynamics/dcs world<version>/docs I am trying to post the manual, but it is too big, still working on it. you can also find it on the DCS website under downloads then click on documentation.
