Thank you for trying it. I am working on updating the briefings, and working on learning to do triggers and some other things to improve them to make them better. Here is an updated Viggen mission with a better briefing, and a few other changes. :pilotfly:

I don't know if its a bug, however I cant lower leading edge slats on cold start, but they are already down on runway start, am on carrier. can barely take off with full fuel and 2 missiles. tried probably 8-10 times over the weekend crashed 5 times, rt. eng. fire 2 times, and barely able to get air borne twice. by starting on runway, then the slats show down, and able to get airborne ( 30 Knt headwind) -

my bad sorry wrong weapon

you cannot mix weapons, to update bx-8 just input bx then num pad #8and pull T1 and you can update them, all the bx: 6,7,8,and9. weapon selector must be in attack mode( the switch on the right side panel) and radar in akn I believe it is ,one click above Nav mode(the switch on the left side panel) when update is done then pull second stage of trigger.

the F-18 is an evolution of the F-5 and F-17 series, so to practice the F-5 for handling and A-10 for hotas and avionics makes sense.

will 1.5 missions work in 2.5?
Andy1966 replied to Andy1966's topic in User Created Missions General
Sweet, If I don't expect it, and they are, that's an added bonus! I was just kind of wondering whether or not to continue making missions in 1.5, as there is still a lot of content I haven't flown yet, but 2.1 a big step above 1.5. thanks for the response  -
Hello all, was wondering: 1) If the "my mission" file from 1.5.7 (or whatever the final version of 1.5 is) will work in the new black sea map after the merge?... I don't really expect them to, however, it would be awesome if they did, because I have a lot of really cool missions saved. 2) will missions from the 2.1.1 code tree will work after the merge, it seems to me the chances are a lot better of missions being compatible with the 2.1.x version? :joystick: :pilotfly:

.... your speed and air density may vary....

why not make a mission where you are at their base just as they take off? and lower AI skill level also as razo+r said. also open rad flaps more manually when they go up

Newly Restored Me109 Flies again, Test Pilot comments.
Andy1966 replied to NineLine's topic in Military and Aviation
Wonderful article SiTh, I must Quote: and Fluid yaw stability is a shared trait of all the Bf109 series. It wants to be told what to do with the rudders every second and it delivers instantly, giving opportunity to yaw with minimal drag for a deflection shot or to provide subterfuge and evasion. Precise controls feel hand made and adjusted like a fine watch. Move anything one mm, and you will get exactly one mm of aircraft movement, with no slop or delay. There is the feeling of enough airframe rigidity and strength to fly through a tornado unscathed. Controls for radiator and propeller are switched into automatic once gear and flaps are retracted. All that is left is a desire to hunt. I agree Scooter, Like hearing a beloved song... -
Just thought I'd drop a note that the Thunderbirds are at Dover AFB this weekend... Wow, they arrived yesterday and It' been wonderful seeing them practice, as it's the first airshow in 8 years at Dover. Seeing an F-16 pull contrails at about 500 feet on full burner can't be described, ya gotta see it. if you are in the area it would be a good show to see I believe. sat and Sunday I hear the Birds are at 10:30am. And that wasn't a sonic boom I heard was it?... Because it sure sounded and felt like it to me....:music_whistling: BTW heard a heavy multi engine prop plane, hope it was a -17 or-29, but didn't get to see it yet...

"sound-radar"...official opinion on it?
Andy1966 replied to 9.JG27 DavidRed's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
yea, I see what you all mean now... however, the first engagement was 3 vs one and the gunnery was poor on 51s part... however the helmet and ambient noise of the aircraft should have negated it somewhat (the sound of the enemy aircraft)it also sounded like they had the cockpit sounds turned way down and the world sounds turned way up.... there is no way to balance GUI from that aspect... but sound mods should trip Integrity Check ,I agree -

:smilewink:Hello, My 2 cents worth.... I'm sorry but.. if a 1500 to 2200 HP engine is on your 6 from shooting distance...with a 2 inch stack on the Exhaust,... maybe the first thing you should hear is the cannons... what I'm trying to say is maybe I should have seen him before he/they got so close...:pilotfly: -
was surfing the net and found this... the pilot was ok but still... Brutal :doh::huh:
-
OK guys and gals ya made me do it. this may have been posted before, but I didn't see it, so here's a cool full preflight and airshow... enjoy

CA works in Normandy to a point, it's still WIP, as far as the wwII stuff goes, the 88-36 works, haven't tried much else since the last update.

Hello, Agree 100 % .I've flown 3 missions so far, and only have one death and a dead stick behind the lines so far( beware of FLAK flying low over enemy territory!) Very well done and very immersive. I had to turn down preload radius some because of lag, but that's to be expected, alpha after all. Again Thank you all

Nice one Talisman, that's a much better shot of it

Hello all Here's a link to a new Kermie cam video of, it looks like the same lot of aircraft the DS P51 is and it has some interesting convergence specs inside the gun bay door at 11:15. most likely ED and YOYO have seen it before but I thought I'd post it. still kind of cool

Invalid Serial Number message after module DL.
Andy1966 replied to Wingnutt270's topic in Installation Problems
Log on to ED website, click"profile" on top right of page. on the bottom left of that page there is a license check box. copy and past the license # in question there, and it will tell you the status of it. however it sounds like there might be a conflict of ED and Steam versions and/or modules, as they were having problems with piriacy I believe and so they separated the steam and ED versions you can find more info in the forums and newsletters. also try copy and paste the serial number ED sent you in the confirmation E-Mail they sent when you bought it in the module manager and see if that helps -
