Honestly, I run beta , but can switch at any moment. Best of both worlds! and haven't been on stable in months.

I am not sure I understand, the icons at the bottom are wallpaper, click at the right side where it has a list that says instant action, create a fast mission, mission, campaign...etc. also make sure you are logged in. if you click on 'mission editor', you can create your own missions. "instant action" has premade missions, hope this helps. seems strange, as if the modules are installed and show up in the manager, they should work

Hello, I had the same "device removed" crash and fixed it by deleting my video driver and reinstalling it. It came up as up to date also. might be worth a try.

yes me too reflected, but it boots me to the main menu page after 10 or 15 minutes. My ping to the server is only 63, so I don't think it's a connectivity issue, I fly burning skies, and aerobatics Caucasses that have a ping of 200 or a little more or less, and other Persian Gulf servers, so I'm bummed. I would really like to try it out but it wont load it.

Hello, I saw your post and took the 109 for a spin. something does feel a little bit different at taxi speed, but it definitly works at hi speed, (in my opinion) Here is the track, it has a funny ending... when I saw the wind sock and jeep flash by, I thought oh no, then got vertigo and cringed and slammed on the left brake.... :shocking:

Hello all, I came across this and thought of this thread. It is the air-traffic audio when the engine exploded on Southwest flight 1380. It's sort of related, hope it's not too far off topic. She is one hell of a pilot and must have nerves of steel! man you have to hear it. True Professionalism by all involved.

If you like the TF-51, and can take off and land it, you will love the P-51 or any other of the Tail draggers

Hi, Man, I know exactly what you mean. I have all except Hawk, C-101, and Gazelle. My approach is to fly one, seriously, Manual open, until the point of being frustrated or bored, (usually frustrated) to the point of building memory, usually a month or 2, sometimes a year or more (A-10). then move to another, usually the one I know the least about, and do the same, until I want something totally different.( i.e. Helios Mi-8 and Ka-50 both took almost 8 months each). That's one thing that's so cool about DCS is that all modules are so completely different, but on the other, its hard to pick one to fly!

yes I have crash too. this flight I flew Harrier, then loaded Mig-21 and had crash.

Hello, yes like Eldur said. Also you can update to 2.5.1 from 2.5.0 or revert from 2.5.1 to 2.5.0 using the updater. see the post skatezilla made on the guides and toutorals section

Crash resolved! Thank You Skatezilla, You Hit the nail on the head. I had game crash and lag, stutters and micro stutters, to the point of being almost unplayable even in single player( Caucases was ok in SP, but Nevada and Normandy would not load), and crashed trying to log on to any MP servers. I tried drivers, deleting saved games, Fxo and metashaders folders, deleting maps and reloading, cleaned up and repairs. nothing helped. the video driver always came up as up to date, no Windows or system errors. At this point I was :mad:. To make a long story shorter, I Finally just deleted the video driver, and reinstalled it, deleted the folders again, fired up the game again, and things seemed better but still crashed trying MP. However this time it threw out a video driver/Kernel went offline and recoverd error, AAhhh Now we are getting somewhere... so I checked the video driver again and low and behold it updated it... checked it again and it updated again did this till it came back as up to date (3 times).... Fired up the game again and the difference is like night and day... No more stutters, MP works on all maps and servers, loading times are better, and is so much smoother its amazing. I would recommend any one who is having crash/performance issues and have the "device removed" error" delete their video driver as mine was apparently corrupted and was up to date. I hope this helps someone else. Thanks again Skatezilla!
