  8. It's killing Combined Arms multiplayer servers. See the attached images below. It contains both Red and Blue units' waypoints shown as white to all spectators...updated in real time. Players in spectator can just study the map, and go kill enemy ground units based on the visible waypoints. Teams cannot not use any form of grand strategy (the point of Combined Arms in the first place). It's even a problem when spectator F10 map view is disabled as you are technically swapped to spectator for a brief moment upon swapping slots. Players can just spawn into a plane, open the F10 map, then swap slots to view the map in spectator while their new plane loads. Or they can enter a tactical commander slot, and do the same process above. This should not be hard to quickly fix.
  9. Until the issue shown in the attached image is fixed, I do not agree with the concept of forcing people to the f10 map as a spectator when shot down. If you look at the attached image, spectators are able to see way points of all ground units on the move as white...both friendly and enemy. If someone is shot down, they could just study the map, and go kill enemy ground units based on the visible waypoints....which will kill Combined Arms servers as teams would not be able to use any form of grand strategy. All their units would be plainly visible if moving in any form. However, I would support forcing people back to the slot selection menu.

  11. This one statement sold the JF-17 to me. Even if the 16 has better cockpit visibility, the fact that the 17 has something the same as the Gripen in some fashion makes it a done deal. REALLY hope we get that module eventually. Gripen = literally an instant buy.

  15. That's when you just talk with the other 17 pilots and change the code manually. As they have stated in the video, it is intentionally designed this way for realism, and they are aware of this. All the servers that are popular (i.e. the servers that people actually play on) generally have modules side locked, so yes, this does make sense. Yes, there are a bunch of small servers out there, but they would not have this problem to begin with as they are not populated, and are only really used (in my experience) by small groups of friends. So, the argument of "trolling" would not really be applicable in that situation. I agree with this.
  16. The person who is in charge of graphics recently got out of the hospital after around 2 months. Do not worry, it's being worked on.
  17. I liking the suggestion others had about keeping it as is, BUT giving server owners the option to use the ED coalition system. I believe this would satisfy everyone as it gives server owners more freedom.
  18. from what I have heard from others, the 120 is under performing in the range aspect. Maybe the SD-10 is just more accurate to life? Hopefully, the range performance of the SD-10 will not change, and makes ED work faster on updating their own missiles.
  19. yeah, i prob should have known that. How about in game? Looks like the max range at 24,000 feet was around 20nm, maybe a little more. What's the range of a 120C at that alt?

  22. I'd just keep your system instead of ED's., since many times (at least on realism MP servers), planes are often side locked anyway. Also, for realism's sake and since it's supposed to be a simulation
  23. 1. OTHER_MISSION_v1 does not have any of the new planes....I am unable to play it as the 190A8 is the only ww2 plane i have 2. Would it be possible to make the markers just a little bit darker? just a little. Right now, they are so light and so faint that there is no point in even having them enabled in server

  25. -1 This would not be good if you have CA enabled as spectators are able to see ALL unit waypoints on the map...even enemy ones. Would ruin competitive servers with CA. I would, however, be down for sending them back to slot selection menu, not the F10 map
