  1. C model will probably be the go to variant when the 54 gets modeled correctly as it's supposed to behave like a semi-120 if I recall correctly.
  2. title. As far as I know, ED still has not given access to model the 54 completely accurately. Admin edit: I took the liberty to edit the title, as I feel it misleads into thinking that we actually get access to the full code for guidance, which is very unlikely and which we never expected in the first place. My apologies that I did not notice earlier, or if we ever were unclear on that. What we can and will adress, when we get the necessary access to set it correctly is: when the missile should go active and that it behaves like a SARH missile during STT. Thank you for understanding. ~IronMike
  3. Until ED gives them access to missile guidance code, Heatblur is not able to do anything about this
  4. This is before you tell the unit to go on its way. For example, if you missclick and put an off road waypoint marker across the map, you have to leave the server for the if you want to cancel the marker
  5. Is that even modeled in game? As far as I know, ED has not given HB access to changing the seeker/guidance yet. I thought the only diff between the versions we have in game is the burn time, smoke, etc.
  6. M-2000C is the module I usually recommend people start out with.
  7. Yes, Redfor has a stennis to use on those servers
  8. Considering we have the Chromecat skin and the Christmas skin, I dont think a IRIAF skin would be too much of a problem if they just put the "fictional" tag in front. For example, there's a fictional UK skin for the F-18.
  9. Yeah, but those are user skins, not ones integrated into the game where everyone can see them.
  10. Yes, I know they use the F-14A, but it would be cool and thematic to have that skin on the current 14B until the A is released.
  11. Yeah man, while Buddy Spike is fun for some, it just felt...empty to me. There are clusters of ground units around the capturable FOBs and airfields, but that's pretty much it. You spend 20 min flying to a known point, kill ground/air units RTB, rinse and repeat. Dynamic DCS feels 1000x more "real" to me, which is what I'm looking for in a realistic military flight sim. It has all the capturable FOBs/airfields like BS, but with the added capability of participating in massive ground battles (a little while ago there was a huge tank battle for control over the Maykop airbase) :). I also kind of feel like support helicopters have much use there as well, since you can sling units like Abrams and send them off to combat, repair bases, transport infantry groups/JTACs, etc.
  12. Well...hopefully we get some news soon :) OR Plot twist: The free map has already been announced, we just have not been told it's free and are just assuming it's paid.
  13. Can we at least get a theater name? What harm can that do? :):)
  14. Toggle zoom button bind? Like a toggle between full zoom and normal.
  15. dang it lol i was about to say that
  16. ah ok, thanks for clearing things up!
  17. bug or intentional?
  18. Hahaha "We plan for the 15 to come this winter" = eh...maybe in 10 years time
  19. Once the Magic is selected, the weapon selector buttons no longer respond. I am unable to select the 530, gun, etc. no matter what I do.

  21. Awe man, the learning to fly in the hard servers is how you get good :) Fly in the dynamic dcs server. Probably the best server out there. It actually feels like you are taking part in a war since it gives approved players control of the ground game. I think it's the only server that does that too. Idk, the other servers just feel...boring imo without the ground game really being a factor. Sure, have the opportunity to kill ground units in the other servers, but you never have that sense of urgency to kill an enemy convoy before it has a chance to roll down the runway and take the airfield.
  22. There is a need if I wanted to raise more attention to this matter ;)
  23. Can we get an update on the P-47's progress? Any bit of news would do :)
  24. Tempest would also be an instant buy to me. I would rather have the Mk. II, but the Mk. V would also be great.
  25. it takes a while for the ai to fire (sometimes 5 min), but they will eventually on their own. Alternatively, you could manually jump into them once you place an attack marker for the ai. They will already have their guns pointed at the target, and all you have to do is pull the trigger.
