I dont know if this is a DCS or SRS bug. As a pilot, i have no trouble changing radios either with the rts rocker btn on screen or the keybind. The arrow moves in the action display and the asterisk moves in the SRS display. However as CPG, i cannot get the SRS asterisk to move.? Since the arrow in the eufd moves, it seems an srs bug

@NeedzWD40 please clarify this: "LOBL is the longest range mode due to the nature of moving targets, and will be utilized when targets are moving or attempted when the range is less than 2.5km. Even though LOAL might be indicated <2.5km," So LOBL is used for targets <2.5 km away. So why would you say 'even tho LOAL might be indicated' -

As a cpg, I can select the Lima no problem. But as a pilot, I cannot get George to use the Lima. Track attached. As a pilot, the missile George selects remains the kilo. Despite my selecting the missile , setting it to manual and pushing the 'Type' button. As an aside, later in the track I tryto lock an MI8 with the IAT but that fails. george.trk george.trk

creating an empty voice_chat.log file in the logs folder does not fix the problem. I am using this mission: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3321332/ selecting apache w hot start. crash happens while waiting for the cockpit to render. log files attached can join mp servers no problem dcs.log dcs.log-20230528-170942.zip

I can lock up redfor just fine, but what if we are going after a badee in a regular vehicle?

I followed Wags video on the the IAT. But despite spamming that button, I cannot seem to lock on. Attached is a track where I am in a stable hover and although I can engage the LMC, the IAT does nothing. You can see the IAT button moving on the LHG but I do not get the symbology or the tracking in the TEDAC. iat.trk

@AvroLancyes that works until the TADS is selected. When that is the case, you have to select the PNVIS mode mode switch to norm or fixed-and since there is no PNVIS mode switch in the CPG position, you have to have it bound to use it. -
not implemented RHG IAT Polarity Switch Not Working?

When in CP/G seat, I can change the polarity of the TEDAC with the Boresight/Polarity switch. But there is another polarity switch list under the available controls, RHG IAT Polarity. When mapped, I can not see any effect when using it. In fact, I dont even see it move on the RHG. It just sits there. Obviously, this is not enabled yet. But what is it supposed to do that the boresight/polarity switch doesnt do already? -

That does not dim the HDU info, just the displayed video. -
When in the controls tab, setting the dropdown to AH-64D CP/G, there are multiple options for the pilot, for example PLT NVIS Mode switch positions, as well as the sight select switch positions. Why would I want to have these functions bound? There is already a sight select switch on the right handgrip and unless the CPG has pilot control (by pressing C) the sight select switch on the stick does nothing. The Pilot NVIS mode switch also seems redundant. Can I not achieve the same result when flying as pilot in the CPG seat by choosing sight select TADS and acquisition source GHS?

In the pilot's seat an axis is bindable, VCP SYM BRT Control Knob, but there is no such control for the CPG. I can adjust the brightness and contrast of the image with the rocker switches but how to dim all the other info (heading tape, torque, speed, elev, etc)?

seems to be a multiplayer bug. and for some reason multiplayer track files are really slow to render g2.trk

It seems George is in tourist mode. When commanding him to search, the little square dashed box just roams around the screen. When you are near enemy ground forces, the dialog pops up (red Kord for example) but trying to select it doesnt work. Fails in LOBL and LOAL. In CPG position, TEDAC is unusable, just roams around the screen. The only way to stop it is to slave but then of course you cannot mannualy move it. The minute you release the slave, it starts wandering all over.george.trk

how to select a specific hellfire in a mixed loadout

I fulfilled both requirements but clicking on R1 (SAL) does not change it to RF. I am using an edited version of the laser hellfire training mission which I copied over to the Saved Games->DCS.openbeta->missions folder. I simply copy/pasted the apache in that mission, gave it a mixed loadout and flew the mission. I did discover that the Sight Select switch (not the acquisition source) needs to be for TADS and now it works. -
I have a mixed loadout with 4 laser hellfires on the right wing and 4 radar hellfires on the left wing. I can put mode into manual (wpn page->mode MAN) and change the hellfire with the missile advance switch depress button I mapped. However, the selected hellfire is only on the right wing with the laser hellfires. I cannot select any of the other hellfires on the left wing. How do I switch over to the other complement of hellfires?
