  1. I am using DCS moving map, another application by the same developer of DCS UFC. I also use the streamdeck plug in. I discovered that having both of these lines in the Scripts-> export.lua file prevents streamdeck from working dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[Scripts\DCS-ExportScript\ExportScript.lua]]) pcall(function() local pw=require('lfs');dofile(pw.writedir()..[[Scripts\pw-dev_script\ExportInit.lua]]); end, nil); but only using the first line allows both to function normally. So it appears that they conflict.
  2. So I updated to 1.3.1. But I now cannot start the chopper. To be sure I was doing everything properly I followed this tutorial here: I flip on the battery and the generators. I turn on the APU- I hear the APU spin up. I set fuel levers to x-feed I push the start button for Engine 1 , and 10 sec later flip the power lever to idle. Nothing happens. I reinstalled the latest DCS, added the freshly downloaded mod to the aircraft folder in the saved games folder. I chose instant action, cold start. Same thing. I also tried putting the Air source to engine as well as switching the fuel to prime. Same thing-no engine start. Did something change in 1.3.1 that I am missing?
  3. The buttons for the symbology, brightness and contrast on the right side of the tedac are cumbersome to use for me. Since I have analog dials available, I'd like to use them to control these functions. Is it possible to add a line to the default.lua file for the Apache that will allow these functions to be controlled by an analog axis?
  4. I have noticed that sometimes when I start up DCS, the default mappings get put in-as a result sometimes two controls will get bound to the same axis resulting in conflict. as the MFFB was designed for the F18, its default Lua file does not include axes in the A10.
  5. thank you. I didn't realize that the WAS to rockets was different
  6. Thank you for making this. I actually got it to work both on the pc as well as my tablet. I tend to prefer the windows app because my tablet is smallish. I am a little confused about the pw-dev setting control panel in DCS settings -> special. 1) Why is there a checkbox to edit the config.lua file? Isnt this file editable in notepadd++? 2) It allows 4 device IPs but I still have to put the single ip of the map client in the Setttings-> Moving map panel. So I dont know why those 4 devices are listed since you can only have one active client whose IP has to be specidied in the Moving map panel. 3) Also, there is a configuration for streamdeck. I already use DCS Exports and have a line in my export.lua file for it. This is what my export.lua file looks like: -- load the DCS ExportScript for DAC and Ikarus dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[Scripts\DCS-ExportScript\ExportScript.lua]]) local SimShakerlfs=require('lfs'); dofile(SimShakerlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/SimShaker.lua') dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[Scripts\SimShaker-export-core\ExportCore.lua]]) local Tacviewlfs=require('lfs');dofile(Tacviewlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/TacviewGameExport.lua') pcall(function() local dcsSr=require('lfs');dofile(dcsSr.writedir()..[[Mods\Services\DCS-SRS\Scripts\DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone.lua]]); end,nil); pcall(function() local pw=require('lfs');dofile(pw.writedir()..[[Scripts\pw-dev_script\ExportInit.lua]]); end,nil);
  7. Discord Invite does not work.help?
  8. I noticed in the controls assignment panel for the AH64 CP/G there are two sets of sight acquisition select- 4 that are simply labeled sight select HMD,TADS,LINK,FCR and another set for the right hand grip. Are these equivalent? Why are they duplicated for the CP/G?
  9. @iFoxRomeothank you. got it
  10. sorry i dont know right from left. but here is the track. hot start in caucasus. controls visible in top left. raising collective gradually. apply some left boot for antitorque tips right over. apache.trk
  11. The tilt starts before I apply any cyclic. Hands off the stick, apply collective and you’ll tip over to the left
  12. thank you for the link. My understanding is the the flight management computer is trying to counteract the translating tendency by tilting the rotor left.
  13. I understand that cyclic forward would precess the rotor disc to the leftresulting in left tilt. However, when on the pad and gradually adding collective with a completely neutral cyclic, the Apache tilts to the left. Why would this be?
  14. is this left rolling expected behavior of a gyroscope? Hold a bike wheel above your head with your left hand and spin it by flicking your right hand forward on the spokes of the right side. Try to tilt it forward-you can't-it rolls to the left.
  15. @MontykoroI solved the problem by copying the entire A4E mod to the default Eagledynamics/DCSopenBeta/Mods/aircraft folder and deleting the entry.lua file
  16. @SlimmothySorry for the confusion. Those are not bound to DCS Export functions. Rather, they are simply the keyboard shortcuts assigned to a button from the System->hotkey section. Since I changed the shortcuts they might not work as expected.
  17. @MontykoroIn the streamdeck plugin, the DCS Lookup button gives a blank page but the DCS Comms button gives a fully populated list. I imported your profile however and it seems to work. Yes I did point the streamdeck plugin to the SavedGames/DCSopenbeta folderand restarted the streamdeck software. And yes there is an A-4E-C.lua file in Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\DCS-ExportScript folder. The log does not show any abnormality: ExportScript Version: 1.2.1 23:46:17:208 : Create UDPSender 23:46:17:208 : Create UDPListner 23:46:17:210 : File Path: C:\Users\Stefan\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\DCS-ExportScript\ExportsModules\A-4E-C.lua 23:46:17:211 : File 'C:\Users\Stefan\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\DCS-ExportScript\ExportsModules\A-4E-C.lua' loaded 23:46:17:211 : Version: 23:46:17:211 : Config: 1.2.1 23:46:17:211 : Maps: 1.2.1 23:46:17:211 : Tools: 1.2.1 23:46:17:211 : A4EC: 1.2.1 23:46:17:211 : genericRadio: 1.2.1 23:46:17:211 : ExportScript: 1.2.1 23:46:17:211 : Detected Map: CaucasusBase 23:46:31:199 : reset dcs ikarus How did you get the DCS Lookup button to populate a list?
  18. F5e comms crash the streamdeck plugin https://github.com/enertial/streamdeck-dcs-interface/issues/102
  19. Is the ‘unrecoverable spin’ to the right? If so it means you saturated the SAS . Basically you increased the collective too rapidly. This created so much torque that the rudder cannot compensate. The stability augmentation system provides some limited amount of anti torque. the pedals can only produce a certain amount of acceleration to the left. When you add collective you can easily exceed what the SAS and manual left boot can provide. gradual inputs allow the systems to keep up. It is analogous to trying to trim big changes vs little changes. If I want to trim for 90 knots, I can push the cyclic waaay forward and hit the trim button once. Or I can hit the trim button multiple times, each time pushing the cyclic forward a little bit, trimmming and resetting the cyclic. With little changes I can trim for high speeds even if the cyclic has a small range.
  20. Not a real complicated one, but a rather generic one. My biggest failing is remembering the keybinds. To facilitate this I use another arduino connected to a tft display. 2 buttons cycle through hard coded lists of controller mappings. This way my button box labels can change w the aircraft. At present these two arduinos give me 6 axes each and 6 switches- I am limited by the size of the box.
  21. Thank you. I also discovered that if I put those commands in a file named 'Arduino Leonardo.lua' with the appropriate syntax, then only the Arduino can be assigned to them. They seem to work fine without the need for curve editing too.
  22. In the ‘axis’ section for the A10C_2 controls, I would like to have binds for the lights and the volumes of he various radios. How?
  23. In the controls tab for the A10c-2 there are myriad functions that can be controlled. However, under the axes the number of bindable controls are limited. I built a button box with 6 potentiometers as axes based on Arduino Leonardo. It works great for the Apache. I can assign the potentiometers to various lighting functions which are controlled by dial. However in the A10 I cannot figure out to get additional axes in the controls dialog. Help?
  24. thank you. i see that the client has advanced waypoint actions at most waypoints WPT 1 has cas -a and EPLRS(on) -a] WPT 2-4 CAS -a The AI tho has no advanced waypoint actions. Was this an oversight? What is the effect of the advanced waypoint action for a client?
