  1. I'd prefer a clear post for everybody to read with the actual status of DCS and a vague roadmap for the next years. That would give all of us a better perspective. The thing with not saying anything and throwing oil on burning rumors raises hopes and demands more than anybody can ever fulfull.
  2. Actually, he rotates Avatars regulary (automatically, I guess). Wait a few weeks and you will have a new theory.
  3. Maybe Wags wanted to talk about a UFO. An Unannounced Flightsim Object. :music_whistling:
  4. I find that kind of amusing. We knew there is an F18 being worked on and most of the other aircraft, Russian, US and WW2 were either a logic conclusion or already announced. Yet nobody wonders, why no 3rd-Party and no official addon neither suggested nor asked or announced one of the most demanded and well documented single-seat-fighters? The F16? Simple coincidence?
  5. As old as this thread is, I wouldn't wonder about a meeting in 2003. :music_whistling:
  6. I set mine 2 days before yours :devil_2:
  7. This thread has more lives than a straying cat.
  8. +1 The way to and back from the target are the greatest moments, especially when flying together with teamplayers.
  9. I doubt that it will be easier with so many buttons. X-Keys hardware is very nice. You can place these on your monitor: http://www.piengineering.com/xkeys/xk16stick.php This one is nice as well: http://www.piengineering.com/xkeys/xk12Joystick.php
  10. The pilot and the people on the runway should receive a ban from any airstrip for the rest of their lifes.
  11. That's great news. Let's just hope the test turns out fine. Thanks for your hard work.
  12. Which is purely speculation until announced officially. So far, we only know an F-18 is coming, which was already announced as 3rd-party. From all we know 100% of the named modules in that last video are 3rd-Party addons. We've all got to keep that in mind, bevor we jump to conclusions that might not turn out as some expect.
  13. DCS: A-10C was an official addon. The announced F-18 is 3rd-party. I doubt they have ED's influence on TM or Saitek.
  14. Of course. That will be a fantastic module. I'm just calling for a little more realistic view and not to mix up 3rd-party modules made for DCS and DCS-made modules, as it is currently happening a lot in this thread.
  15. Please note, that all we know, these titles are NOT developed by ED! So ED's partners are right on track, motivate ED's partners to not drop the SU-27SM nor the F-18 and don't expect 3rd-Party-creations on par with the details you know from the A-10C.
  16. Okay. Maybe I'm alone. But THIS is the most exciting news for me in this video:
  17. Nice video. No more blue flames :cheer3nc:
  18. Fictional. 1. I don't have to live with killing humans to pay my taxes. 2. Nobody forces a virtual pilot to fly, when he doesn't want to. 3. I can fly my way. I don't have to care about ATC, ROE or whatever. 4. I don't have any paperwork before take off and after landing. 5. If I make an error while flying, my career isn't ended. 6. If I forgot how to use this function, I can pause and reread the manual. 7. If I need to stop for a pee, I will either land or disconnect instead of returning home with wet trousers.
  19. Great news and a really impressive list!
  20. Lovely map with lots of great details and landmarks. Much more fun to fly, than the old western front.

    Wags

    Happy Birthday Wags!
  22. Fighter Pilot on an Amstrad CPC. And it didn't come on a disc...
  23. Happy Birthday!
  24. Looks very promising. I liked World in Conflict and played this a lot. Sure it had flaws - nothing is perfect. I'm very tempted by this game, but I'd love to hear more about it, before I spend the money and the time to dig in. Anyone with World in Conflict-experience willing to share a few words on familiarities and what's better (or worse)? :)
