  1. Whats the latest and greatest on this? I did see projected release in Q4 22,,, would like to see some Utube reviews of development, but have not found any.
  2. Unless I am missing something, there are no other keybindings available for the Flaps other then Up or Down? I will check out that video,,, thanks.
  3. Yeah, so there is a section you can set the axis to button presses, but I wonder if that is the right path? I would expect that to impact the Flaps function for the P-47 for example if I do that?
  4. Ok, 42 views with no response so far,,, maybe I should have noted that I realize that the Flaps lever in the P-51 is a Step control, and with each position change, these is a step clicking sound, and that is the root cause of this, I just dont know how to address it? Others that had responded in the P-51 thread indicated that they have assigned their axis to control the flaps, and it works fine, but they are using a different manufacturers Throttle, so i assume this is a configuration matter?
  5. Yeah, thanks for the effort though,, I posted up in the Virpil section, if I get a resolve, I will post it up here incase anyone else runs into this? Many thanks!
  6. *** I posted the following over in the P-51 section, anticipating this might be an issue directly related to the P-51, but it apparently is not, and I was not able to resolve it here: I have a Virpil CM3 throttle, and I assigned its "Flaps" lever to the P-51 "Flaps" binding under Axis Commands. It works nicely from full open to full closed, but if I place the lever in any position just before full open or closed, I get a continuous, very rapid cycling sound of the increment clicking. When I go full open or closed, the rapid clicking stops? Again, it functions fine otherwise. I have tried making making it a "Slider" as well within the Axis controls options. I have NO MODS enabled, and I even tried a FULL DCS repair today without resolve, and there are no conflicting keybinding settings to my knowledge. Any help would be appreciated. Im on the latest Open Beta Version. changing the RZ axis offset from True to False had no impact?
  7. UPDATE: I resolved the matter that when I change the "offset" from True to False, and it then only goes from 0 OR 100, as opposed to from 0 to 100 proportionally, that was a simple matter of having to RECALIBRATE after the change was made. Unfortunately, changing this offset to false still produces the rapid clicking noise when the Flap lever is moved, and still stays clicking until the flap lever is either set to 0 OR 100. Im going to also post up in the Virpil section here to see if I can get a clue.
  8. I have no idea what it is? Like I said though, I tried both, and with the offset set to False, neither setting is proportional, just either 0 or 100? Which is odd to me because the Throttles AXIS are both set with offset = false, and they are indeed proportional? I probably have to take this to another forum to figure out as it is now clear to me that it is NOT a P-51 configuration issue. It kinda led me to believe it might have been because I use the same "Flaps" lever for the P-47, and that works just fine (although I realize the P-47 is not a STEP position control). I dont even know if I am on the right trail trying to make the offset "False" to begin with?
  9. well,,, I refreshed myself on how to save/load profiles, I went in and changed the RZ offset to FALSE, and now the values are either 0 OR 100, nothing in between? Trying to figure out how to correct that? I tried changing the RZ axis from "VPC_sens" to "Axis" in the AXIS SOURCE box, but that had no impact?
  10. I have tried another axis on the throttle, results were the same. The values that you see are default. I dont even know what that "offset" value means or what its impact means right now. I will need to get some recommendations on what it is I should experiment with for changes/values, then educate myself as to how to alter them within the Virpil software. Thank you.
  11. So I opened up the software and loaded my Throttle, and this is what I see. For the life of me, I dont remember how I would proceed with any changes to the "RZ" axis, I will have to review some of the tutorials to refresh my memory, but what would I be looking to fiddle with on the RZ axis?
  12. Thanks for the feedback guys. @Munkwolf Good point on the potential Virpil setting. I will have to look into that. I am not as familiar with the Virpil software as I would like to be. I made some changes when I got it a tear ago, and never had to go back in. i will fiddle tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!
  13. hmmm,,, interesting!
  14. Ok,,, did you happen to hear any unusual, consistent noises when in any position other than full open or closed?
  15. Before I posted this, I searched through the forums, and somewhere I read a response to that question, and it was stated that you can use an axis? Of course, i dont know how valid that is?

  17. So,,, anything on this matter? Im not talking about popping any fuses, Im talking about its function in general? Manual doesnt appear to cover this function? Just trying to figure out how to work the Guage Lighting.
  18. That is quite the response, I read it all, 3X LOL,,, very informative. I abandoned trying to figure out the OSB 10 procedure I was doing to get the TGP to slew to the locked target (via TGT), and found that I appear to be able to achieve this consistently by locking the target on the FCR screen, then going TMS right. All is well then it seems, thanks
  19. I wont beat this topic up anymore, but I certainly appreciate your feedback. In addition, I will just chalk this up to my lack of comprehension. I say that because I still dont get it. To simplify what I mean, i will just say that for example, when I have the GMT up on one MFD, and the TGP up on another, and I have GMT as SOI and I put the crosshairs on a target and lock it up via TMS Forward, I would then press OSB 10 (TGT) and the TGP would slew right to that locked location (GREAT!) After I prosecute that target, I do the same procedure on the next group, and that is when I find that sometimes, that OSB is now somehow labeled as "STP" and if I press it, the TGP does NOT slew to the locked target? And there is nothing I can apparently do to change that? If I interpret your response above correctly, it would seem that it shouldnt matter what it is labeled, it should function the same. I would have to respectfully disagree,,, for me anyway. Again, I do appreciate your feedback. I will just chalk this up as I dont know and will just move along without resolving it for me,,, maybe its tied into a known bug and it gets fixed eventually? Thanks
  20. Maybe I made this a bit convoluted? I dont know. So here is the shortest way I suppose I can ask the question: If OSB 10 says "STP", how can I change it so it goes back to "TGP"? Thanks,
  21. Thanks for the feedback, I dont know what I could be doing to make this happen but on 3 occasions, I am going along with the ground radar in GMT mode on the left mfd, and on the right, i have the TGP up. With the ground radar as SOI, I lockup a GMT, then I have the option to press the OSB labeled TGT, and when I press it, the TGP slews to the target. GREAT! At some points during my runs, I go to do it all over again and when I lockup the next GMT, and I look at the OSB that once had the TGT, it is now STP? And I have tried MANY different approaches to get rid of the STP and have it labeled as TGT,, but I can never get the STP to cycle to TGT?
  22. I agree, but that is not the problem. Its STUCK there, I cant get rid of it to select "TGT" instead
  23. I am trying to figure this out as well, once the "stp" is showing on the fcr, I cant get it cycled back to "tgp"?
